The entire reason they get away with selling that stuff is that is nominally to make whipped cream. It would be federally illegal if it were "intended" to use to get high with. The Galaxy Gas people even sell a line of cream makers that are compatible with their "whipped cream chargers", supposedly the flavors in the gas flavor the cream, I have no idea how well this actually works.

The "medical grade" stuff dentists get is supposed to be controlled, but the whole thing is kind of loosey-goosey because it isn't particularly dangerous as far as drugs of abuse go and it has lots of industrial uses.

But the mayor of Newark just got arrested for protesting at an ICE facility.

If anyone is unaware, Newark is a complete shithole in New Jersey.
It's 11% white, 45% black and 39% hispanic.
It's notable because there is an airport there.
The airport has also been in the news for being shutdown for their radar failing. This has happened twice in 2 months.
I've flown into this airport before and when you leave and walk into the street you're immediately accosted by groups of homeless crackheads.

I was under the impression that Galaxy gas was flavored to make it easier / less nasty to huff.
Those whipped cream guns work half decent. Used to work at a pub, we used that for a while before the owners switched to cheaper, bagged whipped cream that came in big piping bags.
 
One thing I've noticed about comparing gas footage is that in the case of the canned air/duster, because it's simply inert air(CO2, no filtering of nitrogen or hydrogen latent in the air) the octave drop fixes faster because your body is already processing waste out that it usually does. With nitrous, it's a heavier, "stickier" gas like helium that stays in the lungs longer because it sinks and needs to be pushed out & filtered harder, so the voice change lasts longer. They should in theory provide the same initial high, but a lasting gas is going to have lingering aftereffects as it's harder to get back to normal oxygen traffic internally and the "flavor" of the gas hangs in your lungs and throat as well. I couldn't describe helium as a flavor, but it has a certain feel in your body that I want to call a flavor even though it doesn't really have a ttaste?

Anyways, just don't do this shit, in any form. It's all bad, do real hallucinogens.

Regarding Josh's take on the Saberspark situation and in particular verbal/nonverbal consent: I do agree, but it's :optimistic: as hell to assume any of these turbo-autist internet guys who get accused of rape have the social acumen to pick up on non-verbal queues (be those consenting or nonconsenting).

Almost every time something like this comes up, it's the exact same thing: a 20-something nerdy autistic guy gets Internet famous and suddenly has a lot of positive attention, including from young women, which they've probably never had before. Then, just as Josh said, they don't want to settle down with the first teenage fan girl that comes back to their hotel room with them, so they just string them along and have casual sex with as many of them as possible without making it clear that they aren't interested in a relationship. The girls go along with it because even though they're not actually comfortable with casual sex, they think if they put out they'll get a relationship out of it. They also assume that if they give enough nonverbal signals that they aren't comfortable, the guy will notice it and back off, but since they're horny and autistic, they don't. It's stupid, but we're usually talking about girls in their late teens who aren't exactly well known for good decision making.

Additionally, from a female perspective, it's hard to outright say "no" or putting up resistance in a situation like that when you're with a guy that you really like. Beyond just the matter of "if I give him what he wants, he'll reward me with a relationship," there's the concern of being seen as a boring prude and then losing the attention he's giving you. On top of that, there's always the small chance that he could react poorly - you never really know, so it's safer to just go along with it sometimes.

Contrast this kind of thing with what happened to Dan from Game Grumps. He's a guy who from my understanding has had a lot of casual sex even before he became Internet famous, and so when a fangirl approached him, he made it perfectly clear that he was only interested in casual sex and got her to explicitly consent to having casual sex. His cancellation didn't work because it was a grown woman who agreed to the groupie treatment and then later regretted being treated like a groupie.
 
Null. On the browser thing. I experienced basically the same thing. But with Firefox.

It was after doing a lot to harden it. Using containerized tabs and all of that. It would just stop working and I would have to clear out the cache or something along those lines. I wish I could remember but it was a while ago. If you want to avoid similar issues. You might need to lesses what's being blocked by mullvad. I never found the exact cause. Other than changing the blocking behavior, and the history settings.

I wish I could remember a bit better, but I haven't thought about it in a while.

Josh the woman roasting Patrick has made a video and directly refers to Kiwifarms but not by name. I haven't watched the latest MATI yet but this was uploaded when you went live. She's calling out Patrick's lies. She KNOWS Patrick is in line with KF and it's all a conspiracy. I propose inviting her on the show
