I actually recalled this meme recently, I personally think it's a poorly-executed meme among a bunch of funny right wing memes. Italians don't remotely look black, and Spanish speaking and Catholic =/= Mexican by default. Unless this is mocking dumb American skinheads trying to do Hitler apologia. (Re: Franco, perhaps he could possibly have had some distant Arab ancestry given the Muslims controlling Iberia for a long time way back when? - Other than that possibility, he's Japhetic as far as I'm concerned.)
 
It's completely impractical to open Alcatraz again. It didn't close because we suddenly had no criminals to house; it closed because it's HUGELY expensive to upkeep, being that it's in the middle of the bay and exposed to salt and damp weather and all that. Everything on the rock rusts and collapses quickly and it wasn't cost-effective even back in the 60s. I get that it's a cool visual and all that, but really doubt this one will move forward.

Ok so first off, no clue what the fuck Japhetic is. Is that like a pathetic Jap? Anyway, I like the meme and I don't really think the motive matters. I do think it's mocking Hitler apologia for what it's worth.

Going to sperg about Star Wars but the Empire is flat out evil. It was created through a coup, with the Supreme Chancellor engineering a galactic scale war, claiming the Jedi attacked him without reason, and then exterminating adherents of an entire religion, including children.

The Empire murdered anyone who came in contact with C-3PO and R2-D2 on Tatooine, raided a diplomatic transport, blew up an entire planet as a demonstration of a battle station, tortured Han Solo to just cause him pain (and alert Luke), occupied Cloud City after promising Lando that they wouldn’t, and built a second Death Star because they needed a planet destroying weapon to “keep the peace”. And that’s just from the movies off the top of my head.

If I go Expanded Universe, I can bring up species wide enslavement, planetary ecological destruction, High Human Culture, mass censorship, the experiments of the Maw, nationalization of industries, extensive government corruption, outlawing and persecuting religions, genocides, bio weapon experimentation, association with vast criminal networks, and so on.

To play devil's advocate, couldn't you argue that the creation of a war economy and the death star was because of the uzang vong (I can't be assed to learn how to spell it) which Palpatine knew would invade? I'm not saying the Empire was good but I mean I can't blame them for the death star to some extent.
 
I like Star Wars. But its like babbies first Hero Journey. Albeit, it is presented very well.

To me, the franchise is the OT and the video games from the 90s and 2000s.

Can confirm. There's a lot of stiff competition these days! No matter how well meaning you are, or how passionately you tell them to use protection, they get all mopey and complain about the stock market being bad.

Kind of an odd switch-up when compared to them just continuing to raw dog while calling you a homophobe, but I guess that's just how subcultures change over time!
