Didnt fnv pretty much get decanonized because of the fallout show?
Fallout 3 and 4 also got decanonized since Bethesda doesn't even follow their own lore. The TV show more or less turned the iron curtain that the two sides of the fanbase, original and Bethesda, had between them and might as well have turned it into an ocean as now one will never be able to get along with the other and vice versa. There is no way to take the current "canon" seriously since the TV show contradicts so much, it might as well be it's own universe now. Except it isn't, Todd wants this to be the starting point for people going forward but it makes quite literally no sense if we treat it as such, for example we're supposed to pretend that NCR in New Vegas is all that's left since back home, Shady Sands is nuked. Except this isn't the case since multiple NPCs mention the capital as if it was still standing, and halfway thru the game the NCR gets Ranger reinforcements, probably from the capital itself. We could be here all day, from talking about how ghouls are now literal zombies that need a special serum from going feral(why wasn't this mentioned anywhere else? How do ghouls live in seclusion for 200 years without it?) to Vault Tec wanting to nuke the world for...profit?
Then we have House, who we are told only knew about the apocalypse thanks to his own socio-political algorithms. Nobody would believe him without proof, and to the world, he was a recluse shut-in towards the end(reference to Howard Hughes), however if he knew the bombs were to fall and he had proof, why wouldn't he become a whistle blower to save the country? He wasn't a nobody, he was one of the most powerful and wealthy men in America, with direct ties to the Army, if nothing else it would buy him some time to save Vegas even if the nukes still went flying, it makes no sense he would know about the nukes, have proof outside his own numbers/predictions and not go public with it. Let's not forget China not being the bad guys anymore to just blatant misinformation like Sinclair being in charge of Big MT(he was just some random billionaire who wanted to build a casino/bunker for his waifu and had nothing to do with Big MT aside from being their willing lab rat, also they made him fat and ugly for no reason). At this point, I think the awful PS2 and Xbox BOS game is more canon than the TV show and that is saying something.
Imagine actually caring about "The Canon."
Saw this on /vg/, this is the actual canon as far as I am concerned

Love how PT is there but Bethesda's shitty entries aren't. Now that's an esoteric reference if I've ever seen one.
