Hell look at other Amazon shows that have more retarded people running them like The Boys. Bezos gives zero fucks.

I feel like it depends if Spindle Horse is still going to primarily animate Helluva Boss which seems likely as Hazbin's production is likely done all at once given the first season releases multiple episodes at a time while Helluva Boss has bigger gaps between episodes
I wonder how do shows like Reacher is able to not get fucked, in cases like this?

Y'all are forgetting that these are entirely Deviantart OCs and Vivzie does whatever the fuck she wants with them regardless of name, personality, motive, backstory changes or rewrites. These are still "Vivzie's little baby boos" from her shitty teenager days and regardless of what anyone says to her otherwise nothing has changed about them to her.

Viv's OCs feel a bit like the OCs from that fan fiction My Immortal to me. Specifically they feel like there's nothing else to them but angst and edginess. Plus there story arcs are rushed as fuck especially Lucifer's.

I now desperately want to see someone recreate the “Hi my name is Ebony Dark’ness” opening but with one of the Helluva/Hazbin characters. Maybe Alastor or Stolas.

I now have a dream of Viv leaving notes throughout her shows telling her detractors (us) to "STOP FLAMING" or calling us PREPS or POSERS. Also I can picture Alastor walking in on Charlie and Vaggie having sex while yelling "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING MOTHERFUCKERS!?

Right, but if Vox only died and went to hell in the 1950's, then what the fuck was stopping Sinners from being redeemed before then? Was Alastor hard at work brainwashing motherfuckers over the airwaves? Did the weird-ass spider guy that speaks in Shakespearian English keep the Sinner brotha down, or what?
My point is, the narrative doesn't focus on the actual subject of redemption, and whatever attempt it does has to take a backseat of the overarching plotline of the antagonist. Therefore Charlie's view points aren't challenged, with the closest to it has whoever does being painted objectively in the wrong, and Charlie gets complimented for doing jack. Perfect example for comparison is the News Station.

Pilot: Charlie tries to tell everyone how great it is to change only to be ridiculed, with Katie being the spokesperson explaining to Charlie how stupid it is for Charlie to think people want to be genuinely good for the sake of it. Charlie believes Angel is her evidence proving her cause only for him to humiliate her by helping Cherri fight Pentious, something he did out of his desire. Since Angel's a protagonist, we don't root for Charlie to oppose him, as she sees this as a reflection of her capabilities and the hope she has for her people, with Angel hinting remorse, but can't show it because of who he is.

Series (From what we've seen): Hur hur, Katie has a man's voice, and Charlie's struggles is all part of Velvette's master plan😈😈 Whatever those Vees are up to, Charlie and her not-so-bad friends have to stop them!✊... 🤦I can't with this show

A two minute sneak peek of a new HB short was shown at the LVL UP EXPO 2025. The short is expected to release in late June. Looks like Loona's finally taking part in their missions again and them trying to kill his happy-go-lucky father. Loona hesitates to kill him because the father wanted to be with his kids one last time before they shoot him and she didn't want the kids to become orphans like her. It feels like a small rehash of Blitz not targeting the gay couple because it reminded him of his abuser—I mean, his near and dear, poor oppressed husbando, Stolas.

But I guess it's more justified considering it's Loona in this situation and not Blitzo, who couldn't care about the status of someone suddenly gaining empathy because he let his Stockholm Syndrome win over him.

Funny for Blitzo in this short to suddenly not care about a father and his kids. I guess as long as he doesn't know the father's gay or something, he's suddenly back to his assassination mantra.

And yes, this BUBBA person who uploaded the video is a huge HH/HB defender till the day they die. They appear in every new HB episode and indie video comment section and respond to each of these videos with the same "OMG GUYS OMG THIS IS SO COOL!" sort of comment. They also covered the infamous Stolas suicide animation and they talked about it the way you imagined it.

Okay this whole short doesn't make sense. First of all, why the fuck doesn't Blitzø use the asmodeun crystal for a human disguise? It's not funny anymore that he puts on a shitty disguise that none of the humans can see through. It's just pure stupidity at this point. Plus, I'm sure many of the fans would love to see what Blitzø would look like as a human. Think of all the merch you can make with that Viv.

Second, I get the guy is basically supposed to be a Mr. Roger's type with how nice he is, but letting someone kill you because they want to isn't nice. Especially if you have kids. Like that is just really dumb. He should be begging not to die because of his children. Pretty sure they would be devastated to have their dad dying, especially by murder.

And yeah, not surprised that Blitzø resorted back to his non-caring self. He can only feel bad when it's a dad cheating on his wife with another man. This man is probably faithful to a woman, so who cares if he dies.

Also, is this going to be a thing that will happen to all the IMP members of the show? They don't want to kill someone since it relates too much to them? On the next hit, is Millie going to refuse to kill a pregnant woman?

Don't give her any ideas.

(Gets done watching the Hellaverse...)

Sorry, I know, I know, I am late to the party. But I just done watching Vivzie's "cartoons", to see if they were at least watchable.
I am sadly disappointed with her, in more ways than one.

Yeah, the art style is not the Steven Universe art style. Heck, it reminds me of a cross between Invader Zim meets Tim Burton, so that is different. But the major thing that killed the Hellaverse for me, was that it felt more like a 1990s cartoon that you would watch on MTV, not a 2010s-2020s era show. Either be edgy, or play it safe. DO NOT TRY TO BE BOTH AT ONCE!

Also, am I the only one here who thinks all the characters suffer from same personality syndrome or similar personality syndrome? I get the characters are suppose to be either stupid or evil, since they are devils and demons, but even the angels act the same as the demons. Either Vivziepop wanted to tackle the stupid vs, evil morality trope (ala. Grim Advertures of Billy and Mandy, every retro slasher horror film ever, etc.), or, she just cannot write intentionally likable characters, even if she tried. I'm going with the latter.

When I think of hell and purgatory, I think of Hieronymus Bosch's wild paintings and sketches (look this guy up, his art is interesting to say the least), not Las Vegas or Reno NV.

TL;DR: The Hellaverse is wasted potential at best, outdated safe edgy at worst. I just hope indie animation recovers soon.

Yaoi and Yuri....NOT EVEN ONCE!

Where was this attitude in Episode 2 or 6? It’s galling to see this, because what is their leg to stand on when both these characters have a body count higher than a porn star? Like, none of the Dhork agents Loona ruthlessly slaughtered had kids? None of the kids Blitzo murdered during Spring Break had parents or dads? The studio audience he went School shooter on didn’t matter? You can’t have a show about immoral assassins that don’t give a shit, and then try to give them a moral backbone halfway through the show, otherwise you just make the audience question this exact scenario. Why does this guy not matter, but the gay dads did? Are they going to bring up their past hits, and actually wonder if I.M.P. should persist? If the angels and dhorks show up, do they fight back considering that all these guys are trying to do is stop them? Or is it all going to be a half assed montage like in apology tour?

Funnily enough, the idea they’re going for could work, if the moral and ethical conundrum of targeting innocent humans was brought up day 1 and played straight, and not undermined by cannibal satanists and the police murdering everyone left alive. However, it requires at least one character with a hardline moral center, a ‘soul’ if you will, something that none of these sociopaths and psychopaths have, and the writers don’t have the wisdom/intelligence to just play their initial pitch straight like in It’s Always Sunny in Philidelphia where yeah, these people are the worst, they will not change, and will continue to be the worst, as they bring out the worst in each other. They have their emotional moments, but let’s be real, those are only moments, they’re still the Gang at the end of the day.

I say the idea they’re going for could work, because I remember stumbling on a fanfic some time ago that might be able to square that circle of the moral, reluctant assassin, if done correctly. The thing is they made a key change that allows them to do so, one that’s subtle at first glance because of how poorly it could be done, but might actually have solid ramifications if the author follows through with the idea. (Bonus point IMO, the tags lack Blitzo/Stolas. Hopefully they keep it like that, but you know how this fandom is. That guy that got shot in the gut COULD survive, but don’t count on him making weekend plans.)

Honestly, as stupid as it sounds, at least that one would sorta make sense. It’s a new change for Millie, she now can look at it in a way that she wouldn’t have prior. It’s not just the mom she’s killing, it’s a baby that has literally done nothing wrong. I still don’t know if they’ll have some abortion arc, high hopes, low expectations they just give the fans a baby to faun over, because fuck it, it’d be cute, and would avoid a shit storm, but at least that can tie into a new narrative, while the other ‘empathy’ moments are circumstances that should have been brought up already, if they planned to go down this route.

Yeah at least it makes more sense for Loona to have this qualm about morality than most of IMP given she is the only one who really hasn't been on many missions and even in Spring Broken, the worst she did was lure people away while and in DHORKs, she just was very protective of her father. Other than that, she rarely participates and is just there for the gay marriage moment. She's also a teenager so it would make sense for her to be more conflicted about it.

Blitzo conflicted just makes him really unlikeable since he goes around killing so many people who should make him feel empathy yet doesn't. He encourages Moxxie to kill the cannibal family in season 1 even before they were revealed to be lunatics so he's fine with killing an innocent family, kills a girl that's probably his daughter's age while she lives at home with her parents, routinely murders innocent bystanders, and is presumably fine with killing another father after choosing not to kill a gay couple due to the Stolas projection.

Vivziepop is just ripping off Roger's gag from American dad of him being in multiple disguises, though just as likely she's just incorporating Brandon Rogers' comedic style of how he just dresses up, but wouldn't Blitzo have just used the Asmodeun crystal to just turn into different people, like there could be more comedic potential in that too.

Well given that the short isn't out yet, I am going to make my guesses on where they're going with this.

1. They play it straight where Loona does kill him or not, unintentionally making the character some sort of nut who believes in fatalism where he just is fine with whatever happens.

2. He really hates his kids (probably they're older) and wants to be free of them.

3. He's secretly evil (hell could be a pedo for all we know)

4. He is going to fight IMP with his kids

Helluva Boss characters have the memory of goldfish or object permanence where they don't realize killing is wrong unless it stares them directly in the face.

Though I can see Blitzo actually sticking to the arc of moving on from killing since he's the one character Vivzie is fine with having consequences on compared to that stupid bird who gets fake consequences.

I think my favorite thing about the Amazon announcement was how Viv "the Gratuitous Swearing is Absolutely Essential to My Plot" Medrano's ego couldn't handle being called a bitch by her own cartoon character, even in a casual tongue-and-cheek way, without her other character coming in to assure Viv that she's great and everyone loves her.

Its interesting because her characters WOULD call her a bitch (Blitzos Instagram, Pussy demon, Cherub, and Weeboo) now because of her ego being as voracious as her appetite, I wonder if she's just going to be unable to humble herself/make fun of herself anymore because she "was right all along and is the top girl boss"

Correction—the woman's in her 20s. In hell years, that is. Don't blame you, though. With how she acts in the show, she's more of a 16-year-old in a 22-year-old's body than an actual 22-year-old.
Ah still she is a young adult and is the youngest of the cast who barely went on missions so at least inner conflict with her makes sense unlike the guy who projects himself on every gay family he sees.
