Dollmaking/toy restoration/vintage toys. It's gone beyond FtMs being 'out and proud' about 'being a man that collects dolls' - usually My Little Pony - to being obsessed with making tranny customs and insisting that their childhood toys were gay or trans coded. Again, almost exclusively Pony dolls from the 90s. Being collected by girls. It's the most normie gender norm of gender norms for girls to collect pony dolls, but it's infested with FtMs trying to one up each other over how oppressed they are for being a man that collects dolls.
 
Sylveon from Pokémon, well actually anything with that colour combination as mentioned by many other Kiwis before me. The innocent plushie by IKEA named Blahaj is now a "trans icon"

They are everywhere and they have infested every facet of entertainment and even life. One of the plights of society, the new bubonic plague.

Yep, that's exactly what headcanons were suppose to be. A hypothesis about a character that would fit them. Personally, I wouldn't mind a gay headcanon if it at least had something that made sense. Like if there's a character that never showed interest in the opposite sex. The thing is, nowadays I've seen people just straight up say "This character is gay and is battling "heteronormativity". They don't even give their reasoning for why they think the character is gay. It just goes into what another user said and how they just do it just because they want to act like they're progressive and get pats on the back online for it.
 
Lego and Bionicle has to be the worst things I've ever seen. From the company itself to the fandoms. Especially Bionicle for whatever reason. There are civil wars and tranny takeovers on every social media. And the worst part a lot of it is still coomer based porn addiction fetish shit.

Bless you. WoD is my favourite TTRP and it is unfortunately full of gross troons and gender specials as you say and it has only gotten worse since V5. Every community and every PBP is just rotting with these terminally online weirdos and they make being trans the sole focus of everything. It is obnoxious. I've mentioned it in a thread about Beamdog and Owlcat writing, but this kind of fantasizing was a small part of my peaking. You're playing a character in a universe where you have (or have access to) magical powers, and you can do almost anything you want. Now's your chance, your dreams can all come true. I'm not a fan of people living out personal fantasies via tabletop, but whatever it's your prerogative. You can be the gorgeous woman or manly man of your poontroon dreams.

What's that? Despite being in a world where you can drink a potion/get fleshcrafting/make a wish and flip your sex consequence-free, you want your character's primary personality trait to be "I'm a gross tranny, did you know I'm KWEER and TRAAAANS?!?"? Huh. There seems to be something to this whole tranny thing that isn't earnestly wishing you were the opposite sex. It's what you'd expect things to be like if being an exhibitionist freak grossing people out was the central theme of this whole exercise.

I wonder.

It reminds me a bit of the discourse surrounding Yae from Genshit, I remember a popular ship emerged with her and Ayato (male) and everyone insisted she was a lesbian and began spamming images of dead/mutilated animals onto the twitter tag. Apparently their main reason for believing she was a lesbian is because she's close friends with another female character, such is life when it comes to tumblrinas and their unhinged bs

I think with the male troons since so many of them are heavily autistic it's just hobbies or hyperfixations from when they were kids that they never really grew out of
