I watched the whole segment and Ian/Anissa aren't mentioned once. Most of it is just them talking about Freddie Wong.

Odd1sOut has a pretty massive audience. The problem is, despite having over 20 million subs, most of that audience is kids that are, at the absolute oldest, freshmen in high school. I can't speak for any of the others, but I highly doubt Anisa actually listens to Iron Maiden or The Strokes, Misfits, Led Zeppelin or whatever little top she spends top dollar on to complete her white trash chic look.
I don't much care for the gatekeepers, since more than once I've been asked by people who my favorite Misfits singer is in a kind of smarmy little "gotcha" moment when I wear my Misfits stuff, but I do understand. (I like all the leads btw, Michale Graves fronted Misfits has it's own sort of sound I can't really compare to Danzig or Only, so it all just depends on what you're in the mood for, I think they're all great in their own rights) When someone wears say a Black Sabbath shirt but they can't name a single song that isn't Iron Man or Paranoid it is eye rolling.
I'm not very well versed in the Cobes sphere but from what I've seen I assume he's got a similar taste in music to me. Isn't Cyraxx a hardcore Juggalo or something?

The real answer is simple:
Another case of being told "you're so STRONG for living through X!" for therapeutic purposesand mistaking that for actually being strong in everday life.

I know it is a hurtful truth to some but daily reminder:
Not having just fucking killed yourself over getting bullied in middle school does not make you alpha.

Anisa is constantly posting selfies for validation, each little selfie session she probably takes hundreds. Slightly tweaking posture, lighting, clothes, hair etc. Just looking for that right combo to really pop off and get tons of likes. I did this too as a teenage homosexual. It's pretty embarrassing to still be doing this while a married 30 something year old. There's really only so much one can do while putting in minimal effort taking mirror selfies. It may take looking like a retard thousands of times over, but maybe, just maybe, she will hit the jackpot and get a selfie that gets 3x the likes.
