I actually do believe him when he says that the Mexican rehab people were astonished by the polluted sewer that is his bloodstream. Booze is bad enough, but he’s going to have a real rough time detoxing off of benzos. I can’t believe that he’s almost the same age as me and he looks older than my dad.
 
A guy who drink 1 beer a week and thinks he has a problem would also be told "we need to get you in right now!" Sales tactic since people can't pussy out.

There are only two possible outcomes here. He fails, lies about failing and is pillstreaming within a few weeks. He succeeds, stays sober and kills himself within a few weeks because being Ethan Oliver Ralph and living his life is to horrible to face without being high 24/7. Imagine seeing that body in the mirror every day, streaming for 8+ hours for a demented audience to afford a shitty, lonely life in Mexico, without any chance of improving.

The former. He's going to follow the path of every other retarded loser who thinks rehab alone is some big fix. He'll get out and have a renewed energy for life, he'll talk nonstop about how he can't believe he got so bad and pontificate like an expert on sobriety, and then within a month or so the "newness" will fade and take the enthusiasm with it. He'll stop getting kudos for simply not shoving substances in his face and realize that his life is exactly as lonely and pathetic as it was before, he just can't take drugs anymore to cope. Sooner or later he'll convince himself that he's just really stressed out and anxious and half a xanax would help and he knows better than to abuse it now and a few weeks after that he'll be faceplanting into piss bottles again.

Honestly I have to agree with this. I like Jeremy and follow him because he says the things that no one else in Canada will say but him being friends with ralph is seriously confusing. Usually Jeremy would hate fat alcoholic retards who get high on drugs and are deadbeat fathers. I know someone who knows Jeremy personally and I'm really tempted to ask him if he knows these things about ralph and if he does why does he get a pass on this stuff.
