Li Kotomi/Li Qingfeng (power word: Huang Chen-Yang) is a Taiwanese author who's based in Japan and shot to fame with his first novel Hitorimai (Solo dance) back in 2018. Because, to be honest, I'm starting to get the feel that HSTS have an obsession with the idea of a straight relationship the way AGPs have an obsession with lesbian relationships. It's just another aspect of inserting themself into something that's inherently not for them by nature of who they are so they desperately want it. I used to think they were just gay men unable to come to terms with same sex attraction in a very particular and complicated exercise of mental gymnastics the way a lot of other people I'm sure did...but the more of their antics I witness the less that seems the case. At least, when it comes to HSTS from western nations with high acceptance for same sex relationships, it's not something I think actually pushes some of them into that. Just my two cents.

They want their fantasy to be real. As real as possible. So getting with someone that is aware of the pretense and is purposefully playing along isn't good enough, because there is always the painful awareness of the stage play, the script they're all following.
