Since we just caught up on some of our oldest, dearest friends, why not a few more?
Next one's a real deep cut I don't even know if anyone but me remembers.
Jaquie's "big sister" who constantly competed with her for who was sicker, gave a benzo-soaked eulogy at her funeral that mocked her family for mourning her death while a cheerful song from the Disney movie Moana played on a loop, raided her house for disability toys she could steal, called her grieving mother "mom" and hung all over her on Mother's Day just days after the funeral, and was finally told to fuck off.
There's an update, but first have a Jan-Jaquie Lore Dump because I still cannot pass up the opportunity to sperg about Jaquie when it presents itself. I figure it's been five years since she died. There's probably a lot of people reading that only kinda know what Jaquie was like and what her relationship with Janiece was, maybe even some who don't know who I'm talking about!
Jaquie was the queen of the munchies from 2015-19. With daily vlogs, a happy and adorable golden retriever by her side and a "gee whiz" Leave it to Beaver/Disney movie kind of attitude about life, she quickly became one of the most famous of this new generation of insta-munchies. She spawned a whole bunch of copycats who modeled themselves on her, including a flock of girls in her area of Florida who saw her same quack of a doctor and got all the same diagnoses and toys as her. Janiece was one of them, but that's not how they met. They met in high school but they didn't like each other at first and felt they had nothing in common.
Jaquie started faking sick around age 12, first with narcolepsy/cataplexy and then moving on to epilepsy and migraines shortly after meeting her boyfriend (later husband) Judd at 16.
She got her first service dog, a reactive german shepherd, around this time, followed by an out of control retriever mix and finally a golden doodle named Oakly she trained with the crazy poodle lady, Susan Grill. Susan was an alleged service dog trainer who was well known for starting shit. Most famously she tried to sue Disney when they told her she couldn't bring 5+ standard poodles in costumes into the park at once. She mostly trained "seizure alert" dogs which is not a thing but it's fine because Jaquie didn't have seizures anyway. A neurologist at Nemours tried to tell her parents the seizures were fake but she continued to claim they were real and simply too deep in her brain to be seen on EEG.
There is no indication Janiece was faking sick from high school and in fact she seems to have been something of a party girl, perhaps a rebellion against her ultra-religious upbringing; her mom is some form of evangelical/pentacostal Christian who thinks Satan is luking around every corner. After high school she attended culinary school specializing in pastry and she worked as a pastry chef for Disney after graduation. She started dating Paul Ibertis, her future husband, sometime around 2013. Her posts about him were normal couple stuff, along with commentary on how fat she got in the first two years of their relationship. She was never really fat but she has a really round face and a tendency to develop a double chin at even a normal weight. She never mentioned her health. As LCFers pointed out, the helicopter ride is an odd choice given that some of Jan's earliest claims when she was introduced on jaquie's channel were hyperacusis so severe she needed to keep a wad of cotton jammed in her ear at all times and vestibular migraines. Forgive my fucked screenshots for most of this but neither Jaquie nor Janiece's instagrams are still online. Jaquie deleted hers a year and change before she died when she was facing more scrutiny and Janiece deleted hers around when she got pregnant.

He racked up a laundry list of criminal charges including battery, possession of controlled substances on school grounds, armed burglary, and grand theft auto.
In October 2014, Joshua claims he asked his mother why she was ignoring him and was told that it was because of his drug use and he was not welcome in the house anymore, then she flicked a cigarette at him. He grabbed a hatchet and began threatening her with it. They got in a fight, she started punching him, he overpowered her and strangled her to death. He then stole her car and drove up the interstate. His brother found their mother's body hours later. The car was reported stolen and Joshua was found on I-95 outside Baltimore, Maryland. In 2018 he was found competent to stand trial and was sentence to 30 years for second degree murder.

Since both of them were straight tubes and nothing had to be threaded through her stomach they could just pop them in and out to change them. Jaquie claimed she only used her g-tube to drain her excess stomach acid (and food she ate) but fed through her jtube. This time when she broke her tube, they pulled it out of her with no pain relief and did not replace it.
She started going to pain management doctors after that and added regular opiate doses to her already crazy medication schedule of round-the-clock benadryl infusions and zofran boluses. Any one of these things alone will slow your digestion down to a crawl and she was sucking back all three all day. By mid-2018 she was having bowel impactions so severe they had to manually dig the shit out of her.
And then came the cannabis. What started as trialing CBD and low THC tinctures quickly spiraled into her vaping Rick Simpson Oil all day while laying in bed and doing little else. She claimed this also treated her gastroparesis and allowed her to eat ...and rapidly gain weight. When pain management tried to pull the plug by saying she could not have both medical marijuana and opiates, she found a new pain management who didn't care what that dumb old DEA thought.
Right around Easter in 2019 she went into the hospital for period cramps. No really. She claimed her menstrual cycle had restarted after many years of malnutrition and it had made her various illnesses flare. She ended up getting a pocket MRSA infection on her ass cheek that had to be cleaned out and used this minor surgery and the cramps to score a dilaudid PCA pump.
On the 27th of April she made her last post. The next day her husband posted that she was dying. Under enormous pressure, her intestine "telescoped" into the weak spot created by her feeding tube, a medical emergency called intussesception. It did not visibly herniate through the abdominal wall but folded in on itself and the tube wrapped around it, something that could not be seen from outside. The intestine died from lack of blood flow and she started to go into shock. Allegedly she was taken in for an emergency surgery when they finally realized this wasn't her crying wolf again but by then it was too late.
A few weeks after Jaquie died Jan announced she was pregunté, which took the MALS surgery off the table. Everyone expected her to name the baby after Jaquie, by-proxy the kid, or go full munchie malingerer now that the attention was on her baby, but she didn't. She really rarely mentioned her health after the baby was born and when she did it was just to justify why they had a nanny to watch the baby when she didn't work and Paul was on leave most of the time. The baby's life was kept mostly off youtube, with a few vlogs that focused on her and her milestones but where her face was always obscured. I actually considered, because this is Jan, that Paul had died from his Crohns disease or something and in her self-absorbed world view this got translated to "this is about me and I am now a single mom" without any mention of his death. But then I remembered what she was like when Jaquie died and realized she would have vlogged him being embalmed for attention. According to this Hurricane Milton video she's still at the house she lived in with Paul, 3002 Ashland Lane South in Kissimmee. The address on the credit card debt case was Paul's parents' house. No idea where Paul is living. She has said that Paul's mom still comes over to take care of the baby and bring Jan food when she's unwell, but this sounds like a Grandma who doesn't want a vindictive munchie cunt trying to cut her out of her grandbaby's life to me.

According to this Hurricane Milton video she's still at the house she lived in with Paul, 3002 Ashland Lane South in Kissimmee. The address on the credit card debt case was Paul's parents' house. No idea where Paul is living. She has said that Paul's mom still comes over to take care of the baby and bring Jan food when she's unwell, but this sounds like a Grandma who doesn't want a vindictive munchie cunt trying to cut her out of her grandbaby's life to me.
On October 24, she posted a boring vlog of herself laying in bed with her kid, saying the baby has a fever and they had to cancel their fun plans so the baby could recuperate in bed. She takes the baby's temperature and it's normal, which she chalks up to Motrin. This was her last public post.
Over on facebook she made one post in early October announcing she was now living a new life.
There's comments from a month ago saying she hasn't been on patreon either.
So we know from the divorce filing that Paul was the one who initiated it. Domestic matters like this are exempt from Florida's sunshine laws so we can't see the actual contents of the case, but we can see what's on the docket. The case was officially opened in July by Paul and the most recent activity was an October expedited motion for contempt of administrative order followed by a motion for temporary relief a few weeks later. I am not a lawperson and don't know if that's why Janiece stopped posting, like she was told not to put any videos of the child up until custody resolved or something. She definitely was not planning to go silent since the video before her last one she was showing off a $180 gimbal she bought and her first video after 10 months of silence was a time lapse of her turning a walk-in closet into a youtube studio complete with Chinky flat pack furniture and aesthetic lighting.
I really don't think we'll get anything but clickbait about the divorce if she comes back. Fellow Jaq/Jan watchers probably remember how hard Jan clickbaited that she was going to tell the full, true story of what happened to Jaquie at the end, but not this video guys. She's doing that same thing now with the break up. Yeah sure she might be trying not to fuck herself in the divorce case by running her mouth, but she also knows it's what everyone wants to know. I just wanna know if Paul is going to kick her out of the house or if he's going to let her live there for the sake of custody/to keep the baby close to him and safe. Not like Jan can afford a mortgage payment or rent.
(I know I am such a fucking spazz about the baby's name since Janiece has said it roughly 8 million times at this point but I am a huge doomer about minors' lives being documented on their attention-seeking parents' social media and try not to add to what I see as a growing fucking catastrophe where young adults can't escape a legacy their oversharing mothers saddled them with.)

Since she's "back in the hospital because" a nurse won't do something she thought they were going to do, I wonder if it's a home health agency scope of practice issue. Maybe they promised they'd send someone to do line dressings but didn't have the right staff, something like that.She keeps saying she's in because the nurses can't do something they said they'd do but i'm not sure what she means.

NZ has a nursing shortage right now and any nurses on the wards are incredibly overworked and there is a high turnover.
If she is supposedly 'really' sick and not known to be faking there may be only a handful of nurses who have worked there long enough suspect she's doing it to herself and they most likely simply have no time to prove it. Without proof, there isn't any money in the budget to pay for a 1:1 sitter for her.

I actually saw that claimed on Tumblr about a year ago. No evidence for her death, just someone randomly claimed it. I can't find an obituary, so maybe it's just a rumor?

(Note: in Ethan's defense, I think he at one point had a false positive ANA antibody test? Her psych may well have told her that if it got her out of the house, go to the coffee shop. As in with a book/laptop/etc, not as in "buy fancy coffee you cannot afford". No fucking way. Keeping people in their current housing is infinitely easier than navigating section 8 and similar. More like: cut back luxuries, get on food stamps or visit a food bank, and pay your rent.

Another one has gone to that great psych ward in the sky.
Allyson Sutphin aka Skylar Plurality aka neuro-complicated's partner announced she "died in her sleep," confirmed by a housemate.
She was allegedly on a psych stay when it happened although a lot of people doubt that she was actually there since she liked to lie about being in the hospital. Her last update on Monday she had been bumped up to 1:1 observation. She claimed she had been put on the detox ward and she liked to claim she popped benzos like candy.
Allyson was another morbidly obese tube fed GP/EDS zebra in a wheelchair who also claimed 'tism so severe it made her non-verbal and also DID and gender shit.
She was constantly threatening suicide and had a pretty insane level of self harm so entirely possible she finally pulled the trigger on it, and she was also obese with a ton of comorbs like diabetes that she was not managing at all. At least once she bought sketchy drugs from an indian pharmacy online and tried to pass them off as her real scripts. Who knows? Who cares?

At least her poor service-human Alex will have an opportunity to move on from her BPD trap while still a young man. I hope we find out what she died from, I hate that their deaths are the only part of their medical journey they can't share with us. She was an excellent example of why inpatient care is not suited to personality disordered young women.

Oh man, Allyson was one of my favorites. She was just so hilariously bad at munching and there weren't any kids or mistreated service dogs to make it less funny. This sucks.
My guess would be that it was the diabetes that did her in. Having glucose permanently off the charts can't be healthy.
