@OtherLastTrainHome's reading of "The Ark" comes to mind. Starts with this post. I think he read "Starship Repo" at some point too.

There have been several attempts in this thread over the years. Naturally, everyone was very merciful and kept their reviews off of Goodreads.

Yes, with the help of this thread I’ve read four of them now. They aren’t good but the deeper into Patrick lore you get the funnier they are. He can’t hide his smug, superior smirk as he drops a pithy sentence on the reader. You can picture him tapping his temple and saying, “that’s an allusion child.” Really he meant a simile but don’t try to correct him.

I'm not holding my breath, but it would be funny. I have no expectation of ever seeing on, given his low sales numbers and the population density of where I'm at. It's fun y that I've seen Marrion Zimmer Bradley books but not his. For all her wrongdoing, at least she could write.
