You should always weight your ingredients and preferably normalize old recipes (weight your volumetric based recipes that are already proven to work). Not always you will have the same utensils at your disposition, a scale is always the same.

You don't have to do all the shit in this recipe but by soaking dried chilis (guajillo, ancho, etc) and then pureeing them, you wind up with a silky and bright red base for chili.

You know what's weird? I think for April it's more for the sex, drugs, and imagined "love" than money specifically. She left her ring behind. That's documented by Aaron in this clip at 22:00.
