We might not possess sekrit April decoder rings, but why on earth would you publicly mention a need to explain your bizzaro relationship to the kids in the first place?

One reason why it's believable that happened is because of Nick's complaints about his parents not talking about their own sexual relationship with him. For some reason, he seems to think it's a healthy and desirable thing to do, even though most normal people would prefer to know as little as possible about the sex lives of their parents.

It looked good enough that it's inspired me to have a go at it myself. I've made it a couple of times and it's always been pretty good, but it's never been fantastic. I think because I've never had really good dried chillies to use and have just made do with supermarket chilli flakes. Next time though, I'll order the real things and make sure I've got them in stock before I make it.

There's been much speculation about that but Nick still keeps on simping for her. If it's "over", it's only in the most technical sense.

"Love whoever loves you" is shocking life advice and extremely immature for someone April's age. Someone loving you doesn't automatically make them a good partner for you, or for anyone. Plenty of people are in terrible relationships with people who love them.

Technique is just as important in cooking as the ingredients. Until you've mastered a recipe as it was written (after which you can vary it to make it your own), don't skip or change any of the steps. They all have a purpose.

This is true as a beginner thing but eventually you'll get to the point of knowing what things you can change because you actually do know why a step is in there or isn't. And there are some things, like bread, where you can totally wing it and not even bother with a recipe once you know what a good dough feels like.

(Currently I'm going through a phase of being really anal and measuring things out to the gram, sifting flour and then weighing it instead of going by volume, etc.)

Here's something you don't seem to comprehend.

Redbar's thread was created back in 2021, and has managed just 51 pages.

Arron Imholte and Patrick Melton have threads that were both created this year that are currently sitting at 190 and 82 pages, respectively.

The obvious difference in interest here is explained by the Rekieta connection. We're a captive audience of sorts in the case of Aaron and Patty because they are both directly involved in things going on in Nick's life.

In the case of Aaron, it's because he was in the polycule, Nick has a massive hate-boner for him, and he's facing charges concerning him sharing a picture of Kayla.

In the case of Melton, it's because Nick is now one of his paypigs, is using Melton to harass Aaron, and appears to be some sort of accomplice or beneficiary of Rekieta accessing Aaron's online accounts without authorization.

Redbar has no direct connection to Nick. He's not in the Balldoverse Collapse subforum for that reason.

@keke is right. Nobody has to pay a "Redbar is a pedo too tax" every time they mention Melton in this thread. Nobody that follows Rekieta has to even give the slightest amount of shit about Redbar. I barely care about Redbar except insofar as he's gone back to taking jabs at Melton again lately, and I am mildly amused by how he seems to get under Melton's skin. That's about it.
