lol, what gave you the idea that Nick is the “breadwinner”?!Much as Nick being smacked down hard is an appealing proposition, he's the sole bread winner for the family and Kayla isn't capable of providing for the children either financially or practically. Nick's ego would take a bruising but the children would be subjected to even more instability.
While the exact mechanics are unknown, it’s obvious that it’s the trustfund that is the “bread winner”.
It’s really rather simple math: Nick never had a thriving law practice. His legal career before he started streaming (and mind you, for a long time he only earned chump change on streaming) consisted of drafting a few contracts. More of a part time job or a hobby.
There’s just no way he could support a family of five, unless he sold drugs or something and had a law office as a front.
Their main income before the YouTube bucks, and now presumably as he hasn’t streamed consistently in close to six months, is the trust fund. Period.
