Everyone was more focused on playing the blame game than checking to see how the victim was coping. Those people were racist and need to be jailed for doing this. Op is using the same kind of logic Stormfront would use to make a hate crime seem justified.

Black people are precious angels who only commit crimes because white people made them do it, we to coddle them for they are just mindless savages who know no better.

As a black person seeing people absolve black people of responsibility is sickening. The lack of accountability for black people is why we live in poverty and crime. Systematic racism of the past can only account for so much, there are so many resources to get out poverty and crime but for the past 30 years there has been a glorification of the thug life.
