It seems April is still under the thrall of Baldo. Things *might* change after the plea hearing that could alter her perspective, but she’s unlikely to take any sort of initiative at this stage if she hasn’t already, imo.

I think you've got it backwards. A guilty plea means there's no reason for it to come out. Null would have to convince the court that there's an overriding public interest in its release.

If it goes to trial, then it gets added to the public record as evidence and there's a much better chance we see it.

Sargon, Milo, Dick Masterson, and Ralph are probably the only ones who come close to Nick. I think the only person who would truly match Nick would be Jim if he ever had a massive decline, but he decided to just get cancer instead.

So of the remaining four, I think Milo since he was, like Nick, extremely close to being a mainstream personality before nuking his career into being a nobody

How long was Milo on top for? I got the impression that he flamed out in a relatively short period of time and it happened more due to his inherent mental instability, rather than deciding to go in a different direction that doomed him.

Yeah, Aaron was a retard, but at the very least he was man enough to step up and shoulder his share of the blame, and state that he was fucking up the lives of his kids. He is at least able to look beyond himself enough to place the welfare of his children ahead of his own desires now that he's been appropriately clowned on. Nick will throw away the futures of everybody around him just to prove a point to nobody.

Nah, I can't blame her family for getting ahold of him, and I can't blame him that he's feeling bad for them. It indicates that they're worried about her for a number of reasons. She's clearly not talking to them. That's likely because they disapprove of her living with Nick, or could also be because she's still on drugs (possibly both).

She may also be in limbo and doesn't want to say much to her parents until she knows for sure that she will either need a soft place to land if Nick gives her the boot/the house sells, or that she's officially with Nick. Just being in that in-between state is pretty embarrassing and shameful for her. Opting to be with Nick is embarrassing enough if that's what transpires, but I have a feeling she'd prefer that to be a one-and-done convo with her family if/when it happens. And she's not there yet. Maybe she won't ever be, as much as she so desperately wants to replace Kayla. So as is, there's not a good answer she can give right now to the question, "how's it going right now?"

I have to think Aaron knows this. Which is also why he has no good answer regarding how she's doing either. He's smart to stay out of it and let April continue wrecking her life.
 
The only good idea had since he (Aaron) met April was bailing on her dumb ass and getting a quick divorce before the revenge arc happened.

Imagine what Nick and April would have cooked up to ruin his life if she had turned it into a contested nasty divorce, demanding a share of Steal Toe Media Inc. because she co-hosted the show and just dragging the process out as best as she can with Nick telling her what to do.

Aaron was just as much a willing participant in this drug fueled sex orgies, but it says a lot about Nick, April and Kayla that Aaron is the only one with enough decency to realize he is going down a very bad path that would ruin not just his life, but the lives of his children as well. The only reason Aaron's kids and family were targeted at all is because of Nick and Melton the ethical-CP-enjoyer deliberately dragging them into it for no reason at all.
Imagine how fucked up other people have to be for Aaron to be the morally superior and decent guy.
