He was never a cuck other than in the figurative sense that we know of, and it largely became a meme because he kind of stupidly said "I'd rather be a cuck with Monica than alone."

Unlike Nick, though, he actually admitted he had done bad things and at the very least put enough effort in (or simulated enough) to convince the court he was okay. A lot of people saw his Vic vendetta as just a continuation of his previous repulsive behavior, and I tend to agree.

But in pretty much all respects, he's a better man than Nick, even taking his past in the least charitable manner possible.
