they've used up every single possible possible attack they could do to Trump directly in the last eight years. the only option they have is to attack people around him because no one's listening to what the media has to say directly about him anymore

"some people who he hired one said this thing"

"one of his supporters did this thing"

"a comedian at his rally said this thing"

if they don't learn their lesson the fatigue the public has from hearing attacks on him will start applying to anyone that even associates with him
I think convicted felon is a pretty good attacking point don't ya think?

In New York a conviction isn't entered until sentencing, something postponed until after the election. I don't think lying is a good tactic.

Too bad anti-Trumpers retreated into their hugboxes, and refused to listen to anyone, they missed out on a ton of ammunition they could have used to depress the Trump vote.

Giving him a first degree business record falsification is a sham. They got him on a secondary crime which made it first degree but the secondary crime had a single witness and that was all their evidence. New York jury says guilty because of course it does.

Something I hate about a lot of Christian’s, and I’m a Christian myself, and this applies to a lot of boomer Christian’s, is they won’t do a single thing about the evil they are witnessing because they say that God will destroy the evil in the end. Ok, sure, but couldn’t the will of God also be for you to fight that evil? If you let the evil fester and do nothing about it, wouldn’t that make you just as bad?

It also falls into a whole other rant I could do about Christian’s not condoning violence or the killing of their enemies even if their enemies kill them, but I won’t go into that. I know this is the whole “we can’t let god do all the work” meme, but really.
Stay strong. As followers of God, we must expose and eliminate evil wherever we see it.

The appeals court gangraping the State was funny as hell.

it would be a much better argument if the Democratic party hadn’t spent the last decade simping for nigger criminals

is it that criminals are actually poor little dindu nuffins because the criminal justice system is corrupt or is it that being a criminal is actually bad because breaking the law is obviously a bad thing? or is the actual problem that orange man bad?

liberals keep painting themselves into these corners that push non crazy voters away because everyone is getting tired of orange man bad

This was very smart, but I don't think it was exactly honest.

We just heard that Vance knows words like "autogynephilia." The man is clearly plugged in to the internet. There is literally no way he didn't know about mushrooms or even that psilocybin is another word for shrooms. I don't believe it. He's simply too well-informed for this to be real.

When Rogan started talking about psilocybin, initially, Vance went very, very quiet. "Mmhmm. Uh huh," he'd say to Rogan, very noncommittal. I told my husband as we watched it, "he's trying to think how to do this and respond in a way that won't alienate the anti-drug Republican base or the people who actually are interested in these treatments."

And then he figured out a brilliant way to thread the needle. Instead of taking a position that might lead to an argument or alienating anyone, he just said oh, wow, you know, I don't know anything about this, is psilocybin the mushroom one? Because any rational person won't make their mind up about something they just heard 5 minutes ago or take a position on it one way or the other, so he got to look curious instead of mealy-mouthed and walking a tightrope.

It was brilliant. Guess that's why he went to YLS.
Yeah I don't buy that. Vance is smart but that doesn't mean he knows everything about everything. I've known what AGP is for years but only heard the term psilocybin when I met a group of people who used it recreationally.
And I hadn't heard anything about it in use for PTSD or addiction up until a year or two ago. I'm informed on my specific niches but there's a lot I don't know outside of that.

My impression was the "mmhm" "uh huh" from Vance at first sounded not only non-committal but almost humoring Rogan on his sperg out because he wasn't that interested.

Then Rogan talked about its medical usage and personal stories about vets using it and especially Dana White and then Vance seemed to perk up more and asked questions about it to figure out what the barriers are and what regulation would be needed.

Just prior (if I remember right) they were talking about weed where Vance was already pretty much saying he doesn't care, keep it away from kids, and out of the public. So they were already talking about drugs.

Either way, I can't know for sure since I'm not Vance and can't read his mind but I can at least say that I'm glad he's comfortable saying "I don't know enough to have an opinion, but can you tell me more about that?" Whether it's a tactic to more smoothly discuss the topic or not. Narcissistic individuals can't stomach saying "I don't know" even if it's not true, so it is fairly comforting.

Same with SSRIs and school shooters. He even brings up a question to test the link later ("I wonder what Finlands use of psychiatric drugs is?" after commenting they don't have the same mass shooter problem).

He's open to new information and not so arrogant he can't admit when something is outside of his wheelhouse. Those are good qualities for a leader.

Lame website colors are back.

I’m going to let you in on a secret: you can change them back. Find the style chooser.

It would be if the prosecution wasn’t so contentious. I’m not even talking about the actual merits of that case and of the verdict and the rest of the law stuff.
To many people it appears to be a bs case that was used for political persecution. And perception is often reality. Consequently, the rhetorical effect of that point is significantly diminished.

sheeeeit muh nigguh dat trump gots a felony? he jus like me fr fr
fr bro Trump is a certified real nigga, dude has lived the gangster life more than any other US president, always had some trouble with the law for decades, has kids with several different women (baby mommas), got side bitches, got indicted on criminal charges, and almost shot dead.

Those 34 felony counts were from "cafeteria style" selection whereby even if only one juror thought he was guilty of something, Merchan would accept it. He wouldn't tell Trump or his defense the actual charge until the closing arguments. And that was... Trump paying his lawyer for a legal expense. They wouldn't even let the FEC- who stated that it wasn't a court matter- speak, so the likes of Merchan can force a guilty verdict.

Giving him a first degree business record falsification is a sham. They got him on a secondary crime which made it first degree with the secondary crime had a single witness and that was all their evidence.
It wasn't even something Trump himself did. His lawyer took an extra charge from him. Trump was actually a victim and they still charged him.

They don't stick because it was all kangaroo court bullshit. No one should be above the law, but no one should be beneath it either.
