It's been mentioned so many times but I find it so funny that it's still the thumbnail for that video, despite all the comments about Private Sandeau and the brutal crimes of Lt. Alex "Warlord" Campbell. Side note it was so annoying to go manually blocking the dozen subject specific channels that egghead boringly narrates poorly written scripts from Wikipedia.

In a digression from my last post about his similarity in style and attitude to Lemmy Kilmister, I'm surprised the BOY never got into Hellboy. He's only mentioned him a few times in only a couple videos according to lolcowgo. Buuuut I guess the overt Christianity and themes of overcoming one's true nature for the betterment of others is a bit too on the nose for cobes. I'd genuinely love to see him try cosplaying with red face paint and a slightly more groomed skullet with sideburns. He's already got the trench coat and oversized sixshooter. But blowing away a demon who's stalking him with consecrated bullets of salt and white ash would be a satisfactory end to the NAL arc.

He’s reached advance alcoholism where now it’s just liquor with water to make it more palatable and easy to drink. Reminds me of my grandma who’d just sit around drinking a mix of gin and hot water from a coffee mug all day

One time in college I did cheap gin and water because we were out of mixers. It was and still is the foulest goddamn thing I have ever drunk in my entire life.

Felt like Winston in 1984 but that was about it.
 
Advanced alcoholism is not giving a fuck about taste and just looking to get blitzed. There’s a reason you hear stories of people drinking plastic bottle vodka, cologne, and buying shit literally based on percentage of booze.

If Cobes has a bit more money and could keep a bottle on hand at all times, we probably would see him start creeping into permanently drunk status instead of buzzed.
