Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

Imagine being such a greedy kike that all you care about regarding your grandparents is what they leave you. Americans whine and bitch about the government stealing THEIR money (and they're justified to do so) but as soon as grandpa wants to live his remaining years in comfort they cry and whinge they don't get grand pappy's money. People that think of family in that way should be gassed.
Sorry grandpa, the only being a greedy family hater is you. Leaving your kids and heirs with fuck all has long been considered shitty behavior. But hey, go buy another truck full of Elvis merch to bring on the cruise with you!

Halloween haul time!

i keep seeing the bitch in the first video now and then and i'm always caught off guard because her face genuinely looks vertically compressed

Bad news, pal

To his credit, while I don't show it here, he does tag the brands in his posts. He knows the marketing game, for sure.

What the fuck? What brand would want that associated with it?
See this?

This is probably the best ad Tess Holliday ever did, because you look at it and you think "Damn, I know Lululemon is the prestigious brand, but if Fabletics can handle this much girth the material must be great."
Similar deal for Gorlock. Even if only a fraction of those brands he's tagging are sponcon, it means that they're still getting eyes on their products.

i can see how getting the biggest obeseasts you can find would actually be great marketing for sportswear and underwear
"look how much it can support" it's like those tape ads where they show it holding up a massive barbell
but when it comes to fashion, don't women wanna look good in it? i know every girl says her ugly bff is the sexiest bitch in the world, but they never truly mean it, seeing a flashy dress worn by someone who's body is shaped like a big mushy pea doesn't evoke class

i suppose it could be marketing to insecure fat girls with the "see that... er... thing? yeah, if she lets herself wear this, you'll DEFINITELY look better in comparison, trust me sister" angle

Same energy, 'see, even a she-boon can use it'.

OY VEY GRANDPA! HOW COME YOU DIDN'T LEAVE ME STUFF DON'T YOU KNOW THAT'S SHITTY! The absolute state of USrael lol.

let's be real here, how many of these grandparents had their grandkids spend any time with them? modern 1st world culture dictates that living around your parents, or hell, even loving them, is abnormal and at most you're supposed to put on a polite performance for them whenever they come over and then sigh and whine and moan when they leave about how much you hated every second of it

you can complain about grandma being selfish when you've done all you could for HER, not sit there on your ass expecting the inheritance and then go "what? where is it?" idk where were you when she baked a pie and invited you over? bitching on facebook that you have to leave the house and see family? if so, fair enough, nobody's forcing you... but also stuff it, of course you get nothing
From what generation onward is that the norm? Both me and wife are in our 20s and we still visited when they where y'know alive.

When someone's collection gets to the point that they need additional shelves to hold it, how much do the shelves cost compared to the consoom items? Here's one example of someone's Love Live! figurine collection with multiple shelves:

Also I'm pretty sure that everything Star Wars is rapidly becoming unsellable and worthless, so anyone that wasted their life on 1970s Luke Skywalker shit and so on will soon realize it went from gold to shit. Just a thought.
It's already happened. Boomers can't seem to comprehend how there's landfills discount resellers stacked to the rafters with Star Wars toys.

I saw a poll of female anime fans in Japan about what they were looking for in a man. "Not a Love Live fan" was a common response.
To be fair, American women recently rated "plays video games" as the biggest "ick!" for a man.

In general, there's far too much spicy stuff nowadays, interwoven into entertainment.
Strongly disagree. We've had over a decade of media being almost completely sexless, and when there is a hint of sex it's usually aimed at straight women.

Those anime figures can get pretty expensive.

The shelves in your picture are probably $20-$30 max, not as egregious as choosing to collect pieces of plastic that cost a few hundred dollars to begin with.

Most popular displays for anime collectors are the billy bookshelf and the detolf, both from IKEA, because they are relatively cheap, widely available and easy to customize.

The billy (without additional glass doors) costs $79, a little less than half the original retail price of each of the more expensive scale figures on the bottom shelf of your example picture. Billy also has the option to add glass doors, which are $65 each, adding up to $209 per display, a little above the average cost of a single scale anime figure nowadays.

Detolf (it has a new name which is escaping me rn) is a bit cheaper than a Billy with doors, but they are also smaller.

There are also collectors (usually gunpla) that buy massive displays that cost thousands of dollars apiece.
