I never got the call Jamie lee, I just didn't see it. Kureha has some level of sex appeal for someone whose over 100 years old. I think Katey is the stronger pick.
It was more that JLC was a massive fan and advocate for the anime/manga, so it would have been cool to have such a famous fan on the cast, plus it'd be good for promo.

My guess is that Imu is going to have a fake face sans the eyes. Like Baldwin VI with a reveal with him having some sort of immortality that’s paralyzed his face forcing him to don a mask, but the joke will be that OG Joyboy caused him to make a face right when he was made immortal.

Also, has there been a Devil Devil Fruit, yet? Nika is has had Jesus parallels so I am expecting their to be a literal Human fruit devil version to counter Nika unless that’s just Blackbeard and the Yami Yami fruit cause darkness is absence of sunlight.
I'm convinced of two things about Imu, with absolutely no proof for either.

-Imu's a woman.
-Imu has the water devil fruit.

TBH Vivi being darker skinned makes sense, she lives in a drought ridden desert in an Egyptian styled society, it's not like Usopp who was inspired by a generic 'African' identity (where other SHs got actual countries). Yeah, she is a royal, but it still makes sense she would be olive skinned or darker really.

It'll make the blue hair look pretty silly, though.
You know, you remind me of me going on TV Tropes and somebody taking a shot at guessing nationalities.

I get Alabasta is Egypt. I just found it interesting that folks would expand a simple SBS to the extent that they did.
It's not too surprising because Oda's inspiration from other cultures is fairly clear most of the time. Not that he is alone in that but it makes for amusing online speculation.

Italy for Law is an interesting idea when you consider that his earliest ally was Rocinante. That's the name of Don Quixote's horse and much like the titular Don the horse was engaged in tasks beyond his capabilities. Just like the situations Law and Rocinante both end up in.

Edit - and of course relevant to the family name but still.

Nor is he a good doctor by Canadian standard. He just wastes time trying to treat people instead of telling them to kill themselves.
Now now, like every smart person, he saw Wano and concluded that no one deserved to live as he left everyone to suffer.

Very canadian. Just took time to learn.

I was not ready for Borsalino breaking into tears. Highlight of the chapter by far along with Sakazuki.

Lilith saying that everyone is dead but not really feels like a bit of a copout, but I'm fine with it as long as new stellas and main body don't just get shit out of nowhere. Also, what happens with the giant brain.

Also, nice on Zoro being the first mate by mentioning how luffy should stop moping about Vegapunk.
