Yes, which makes me glad this series is gonna go to shit and get canceled before Coby gets HIS moment on Beehive Island.
What makes you say that?

Giving Alabasta a whole, or at least a good chunk of next season?

Alright, damn. Based even.
At a certain point, I think that’s the only logical plan you can do considering how much story there still is to cover . And even then you’ll probably have to condense a lot.

I don't think it'll go to shit but even if the show keeps getting renewed, we won't even get to Fishman Island and the New World until next decade.

Yeah they could use the time-skip a little, say it was 10y training not 2, but the whole story of One Piece inc the timeskip is <3y.

His human hybrid should totally be a man in a suit, dammit.
Danny Trejo is too old for it but I would be 100% fine with someone similar with minimal costuming, body hair dyed and have the same person who does mini Chopper doing the dialogue.

Bonus points if backstage footage shows the hybrid form bench pressing the human form.

My guess is that Imu is going to have a fake face sans the eyes. Like Baldwin VI with a reveal with him having some sort of immortality that’s paralyzed his face forcing him to don a mask, but the joke will be that OG Joyboy caused him to make a face right when he was made immortal.

Also, has there been a Devil Devil Fruit, yet? Nika is has had Jesus parallels so I am expecting their to be a literal Human fruit devil version to counter Nika unless that’s just Blackbeard and the Yami Yami fruit cause darkness is absence of sunlight.

Perpetual duckface. I can dig it.
More like mid laugh where he looks stupid or used Gear 5 to permanently give him Dream Works face. The entire reason why Imu rules from the shadows is because he’s too embarrassed to rule with a stupid looking face.

Still a very diversity based decision and she's British sk how is the show gonna handle the accent difference(vivi is British now, probably).

TBH Vivi being darker skinned makes sense, she lives in a drought ridden desert in an Egyptian styled society, it's not like Usopp who was inspired by a generic 'African' identity (where other SHs got actual countries). Yeah, she is a royal, but it still makes sense she would be olive skinned or darker really.

It'll make the blue hair look pretty silly, though.

Your acting like a lighter skin tone would have made the blue hair any less silly.

Lol well it's not a colour I'd choose no, but the tone of light blue works better against peach/white than it does brown/black.

Considering how bad this could've been I'm happy enough with it.

Also the fact there's some fat chick at Netflix seething they couldn't make the clearly Egyptian loyalty inspired character a black is just a cherry on top.

I think Katey Segal is pretty strong casting.

No idea who the other guy is but his last name is suspiciously similar to Hiriluk.

We never saw people see the race in one piece as more than the gospel until the normies came in.

You’re right about her blue hair lol.

Lol pretty much my exact thoughts. Shame Jamie Lee couldn't really do it but she has prior commitments and would be pricey.
I never got the call Jamie lee, I just didn't see it. Kureha has some level of sex appeal for someone whose over 100 years old. I think Katey is the stronger pick.
