I think people do not understand its two very separate court systems and I think knowledge of CPS and how it work is not really known by people who haven't been on both sides of system (I have clients who are kids who were removed and parents who have had kids removed).

Criminal vs CPS is very different situations. In CPS after that first case where the judge states they have proven their case there was abuse you are guilty and are working towards your innocence. So regardless they are both guilty of child abuse and the CPS system will keep that record.

I believe that most do not believe that Nick's case is 'closed' with CPS in any kind of official sense. He may have closed the active investigation stage and gotten some access (disagreement on level of access exists) but I believe general consensus is that he is under some surveillance monitoring.

A lot of thr clips previously linked to you have this ( at least mine), but if we are expanding thr scope to the statements of others, Viva and Barnes streams, the Barnes and Nick stream, and the Chrissie interview are 3 good staring points for more digging.
