Friday Night Tights happened last night. When asked what everybody was doing lately, Chrissie again vaguely referred to "doing interviews." It's pretty clear she doesn't want to mention Nick, despite her being a guest on FNT alongside him multiple times before she was added to the main roster.

The other interesting thing was that they mentioned they were going back to doing ad-reads next week, and they're doing ear buds "because that's something a lot of us actually use." It suggests they have a lot more leeway over what they chose to advertise. Geeks and Gamers apparently also has a contract. So either Nick has a low-tier contract that doesn't allow him to choose what he shills, or he is specifically going for the 5G meme pills. Or he doesn't have a contract at all and is just taking random ad reads because mom and dad cut him off from most finances.

Knowing Nick, I have to wonder if it's the latter. He couldn't resist having a smugness overload over finally getting his vindication if he had a contract. Many single Doritos would be eaten while yelling "oh no kiwi bros!" if he got what he actually wanted out of the deal.
 
The thing with a search warrant is theyre getting in the house no matter what its best just to let them in peacefully. One of my roomates at college got done for drug possession and they smashed our door down because he refused to let them in. Came home from class to see 30 odd officers standing outside and a smashed in door. Had to replace the door out of pocket and basically begged the landlord to not evict me and my other roomates.

If you have nothing to hide and they have a warrant just let them do it It'll just open a whole can of shit that you have to deal with afterwards.

Even if you HAVE got something to hide, they're still getting in. They've already blocked off all your drains before they knocked, so they're going to catch anything you try to flush. If it's just PC Plod and WPC Strongwoman, they might be attempting to blag their way in, but if they've come mobbed up, they've got a warrant. Any delay is just going to see your door feeling the warm embrace of the battering ram.

I do wonder if the reason they still use the battering ram when there are more effective techniques available is for psychological reasons. The idea that any resistance will be met with overwhelming physical force is a message that I can see the police wanting to send.

I think he's doing this because he wants people to believe everything is cool and he's got something "like" a contract. So he's still totally owned the Karen Farms guys!

You will note he stopped saying "contract" some time back, and started referring to an "agreement." It's a slight of hand, and a tacit admission of what we already knew from Rumble's investor call some time back. There are no more contracts with guaranteed payouts for simply turning on the camera anymore.

His "agreement" is nothing more than he has the option to shill laughably dumb products for pennies on the dollar.

In fairness to Nick, he hadn't seen the copy of the warrant until after arriving back at the home after they breached. He only had their word that they had one when they asked for the door code while he was stopped on the side of the road.

Battering rams are still used today because they are just a quick method to knock down doors. When time is of the essence and quickness is placed over property damage, they are just going to go with what can get the job done in that fashion.

They just identify the soil pipe coming from the apartment, cut a hole in it and put something in to capture anything that gets flushed.

I think it depends on how important they think you are. If you're just a user, nobody much cares what you're up to. But if you're a dealer and they've targetted you, they're definitely doing it. If you're important enough to send between six and ten cops to your house, you're important enough for them to intercept your drains.

Every state is different, but I assume it was so nothing he did could be construed as a consent to a search. In some states, if a search warrant is determined to be deficient, then the state will argue that the defendant’s actions meant he consented to a search, which makes an illegal search legal. In other words, if Nick gave the cops the door code, then it doesn’t matter if the search warrant was valid or not because the state would argue that he consented to the search.

This is correct (depending on the state) but I don't think Nick was that smart. I think Nick was just being generally disrespectful and emotionally immature toward the police. It lines up with his behavior toward the police during his last traffic stop and his behavior of throwing the warrant on the ground when presented with it before the search.

Yes. But Nick is a lawyer so he should know some basic things about cops. That while yes they can and do lie. There are certain things that they never ever lie about. If a Cop says "We have a warrant at your house", they 100% have a warrant. This is not something they would ever lie about. If they say they have the warrant, THEY HAVE THE WARRANT. 100% of the time.

Nick as a street level storefront lolyer should know this. He clearly did because he didn't bother to read it. Just walked it up and threw it on the ground.

Earlier in one of these threads someone mentioned to me that it's not so much the importance of the case as just outnumbering the people you expect to encounter. In principle the entire Qover plus all the kids could conceivably have been at the house, and I suppose one must be prepared for nightmare scenarios where all the adults are violent coke demons and all the kids are running around screaming and panicking.

Generally, you want to deny consent verbally (especially if it is on bodycam) but do absolutely nothing physical to interfere. "I am not going to interfere, but I do not consent to this."

Battering rams are cheap and effective.

The county PD, before merging with the city and thusly having a lower budget, used a PVC pipe with concrete in one end. It was cheap as shit and worked. Plus it scares the shit out of people.
