Leaving the Internet is a good idea, but the existential crisis he’d experience would be enormous. Online, he’s this famous and controversial figure. Offline, he’s just some fat, dorky gay guy with no dick. I doubt he’d be able to deal with being nobody full-time.

That's definitely true, he gave up the free internet money printer that was TWO youtube channels. I wouldn't trust him to push grocery carts in from the parking lot and not just blaze up in the stock room. He's quit everything he's ever done for income since high school. He can't even play the same tranny games for more than a month without getting bored and quitting.

Lucas permanently ruined his reputation and the Internet is never going to kiss his Hank Hill ass ever again. However he's an attentionwhore who will always end up reminiscing about the good ol' #DKF days and long to relive them, but those good days are over and no amount of pretending that everything's fine will work.
He's gonna be stuck in this cycle for god knows how long because he doesn't have the mental capacity to reflect and realize It's Joever and from now on any attempt to come back is futile and just circling the bowl.
 
Somehow blowing $100000 of other peoples money on blow doesn't qualify as "prioritizing my own happiness".

I really hope he does give up on this quest for Internet fame and get his life sorted out, but he's probably going to come back next month with an ASMR channel or something.
