In a weird sort-of-hopeful tangent: one thing that made me smile in all of these docs was the oldest kid wanting to be an indie game dev when he grows up. That is the most normal 16-year-old thing ever, and makes me hopeful he is not too damaged from all this stuff with his parents. I've started transcribing this to text due to the legibility issues. I am up to page 4, and will get back to it later assuming nobody else finishes it or gets an AI to transcribe it. It should be faster later since I can copy the form questions and only transcribe the answers. If I had to speculate, probably in the hospital getting medical treatment. If I remember the balldo lore correctly, she is the one with ADHD and all that fun stuff, so I would imagine a hospital trip to start detox and maybe a visit to a psych doc to get put on something that will help mellow the detox process down for her. Mind you this is just a speculation based on what I know from my time working in the foster system.

I would agree with your speculation. I work for CPS (not in MN) and case planning/foster care placement after hospitalization would make sense that her foster care placement date would be different than the others in care. At least, that is how we list placement dates/case planning dates. If Nick and Kayla continue to stall on completing the required CPS orders, CPS could move to severe their rights and find a relative to adopt the children. Federal law will give them approximately a year to make progress. If Nick thinks he is going to stonewall CPS, well, good luck Balldo. The kids have Guardian Ad Litems to advocate for them. Shit is going to get real. What I wouldn't give to be in that courtroom. LOL
