Two things to keep in mind:

1. Rekieta and his jannies were caught previously attempting a gay op against the Farms. This is what desperate people do. See my previous post about their need to arrest the streak of crushing Ls they've been experiencing. In the alternative, there's probably people out there that really hate Rekieta enough to think gay ops are a good idea (pro tip: They're not. They'd only help him).

2. KC has been susceptible to gay ops in the past. More susceptible than KF. If you are pushing a real whale of a tale, you'd probably wanna go through the one that vets less. That would be, undeniably, KC. KF would employ greater skepticism. Especially if it's a really serious claim. Such as what happened in the first hour or so of the CHIPS court order being released.

Back in the day, the only hope theyd have is that they got a job in their teens that was public facing so they could figure social cues out.

The definition of homeschooling being bandied about ITT is rather narrow. Plenty of setups that are technically (and legally) homeschooling involve plenty of social interaction with other kids and adults. Even the co-op Nick’s children were part of seemed to be based largely out of the house, as @Himedall All-seeing Waifu and others have pointed out. When one or two of the kids seemed to drop out, it was noticed and reported. I’m sure there are plenty of parents just keeping their kids locked in closets and calling it homeschooling, but that’s not a typical experience and it’s risible to suggest otherwise.

Kids come with all kinds of dispositions and what I’ve been disturbed by most in recent years — children who cannot function without a screen in front of their faces, and who forcefully resist being separated from their devices — seems to infect western youth regardless of where they are schooled.

Every form of schooling has its potential hazards and drawbacks. For every person clutching their pearls about lack of socialization for homeschoolers, there are parents despairing about their kids being bullied or turning into bullies themselves (or getting groomed by teachers or being turned trans or brainwashed with batshit politics) because of the dynamics of their schools.

No one in this thread ever said homeschooling was “necessarily better,” Rekieta-style straw man erection notwithstanding. The point was that the kids being hungry, smelly and troubled would have likely flown much more under the radar if they’d been immersed in large classes — and that would be true in either public or private schools.
