My understanding of the CHIPS record is that:

• Everyone attended in person
• The foster parents are listed
• Robert Rekieta is Nick's father
• Robert is not listed
• Robert testified at the hearing

There is thread speculation (I have not seen anything but heresay) that Robert and his wife are licensed as as foster parents.

Hypothesis: Robert and his wife are the foster parents. Normally this would be hidden information; the foster parents are not listed by name. However, what court reporter would think to list Robert as also attending as a witness to hide that he is one of the foster parents?

Curious to hear what others think of this hypothesis. I think someone also suggested Robert & wife as the foster parents, but I didn't see the argument spelled out so explicitly.

In trying to implicate the other person, the person always tends to produce even more evidence against both themselves and the other person. If two people do it, you get twice the evidence produced. Its also difficult to get a jury to conclude that one person isn't better or more responsible than the other.

His left eye also appears to droop more on the outside edge than his right eye. The real kicker is at 0:24 in the video you can see visible protrusions to the side of his nose that to me look like tendrils which wrap into his eye socket and nasal cavity. Nick has taken steps to isolate Kayla from her family. I remember in 2019-2020 that there were constant disruptions and noise from the neices and nephews visiting. There was also mention that Kayla's cousin was her 'bestie' and that she, Kayla, and Kayla's sister would spend time and share child-minding duties.

All that stopped in 2020 or 2021. I assumed it was Kayla wrangling the children better, but then we have 'worse day of my life' in 2021 or so... Many surmised there was a break with the in-laws, (see observations above, the shitty 'I will be us' tattoo, and the Sister repprt to the pastor) and it seems true now.It raises so many red flags for NPD and manipulative behaviour that Nick has shown.

There’s no way, with how her family has been described, that they were okay with Nick diving into the e-celeb degeneracy or open relationship stuff. Again his denials about this shit on stream was probably as much for her family’s ears as his public persona. He would have been determined not to give them any confirmation of what they feared was actually going on.

The “worst day of his life” probably was the break with Kayla’s family. The effect of a losing a small army of trusted extra hands for the kids would have definitely started a cascade effect. Terrible for Kayla too, because it Nick would have made it a me or them situation. Not clear if the “foster parents” at the hearing were Kayla’s parents, but it seems likely. I think if they weren’t the foster parents they would have been named as witnesses like Nick’s dad.

This brings up a question I've had in the speculation about whether Kayla's parents are fostering the kids and maybe that they were not able to provide space or whatever else is required of your home to foster children: why haven't Nick's parents flown up and taken that role? They already have a house there, and they have the means to outfit it (or hell, buy and furnish one that has the space) for 5 kids?

To make it more clear: Robert/Bob (Nick's dad) testified at the hearing. He was not mentioned as one of the people present as participants. The only participants not named were the foster parents. I believe that if the foster parents are family then it's likely Nick's parents.

They were not in public school besides the oldest I think.
