I looked over the Form 990s and it documents that the family foundation did diversify its holdings after Nick's grandparents donated a total of tens of millions worth in stock.
Ah, yeah, a trust, that info will be out there.

Yes, this sounds fine, really. It's pretty hard to set up a trust this big without competent advisors.

This guy is acting more and more like Cyraxx, than a lawyer. He is acting tough before the camera, and says it's the Guvn'ment trying to persecute him.

I bet when the trial day comes he will immediatly changes his tone down, submits and makes an ass of himself for lighter sentence.

He can't even take his own advice seriously enough to not talk to the cops and don't overshare information online.

To my knowledge he is the most normal lolcow amongst all the lolcows I know. Almost every lolcow has obvious issues: bad childhood, autism, schizophrenia, high social awkwardness,
bad parenting, bad environment, abusing parents, siblings, etc.

Yet Nick had -according to the infos here- a decent childhood, good and caring parents, never had money issues, had a loving wife with five nice and beautiful kids, lives in his dream
mansion, was a respected member in his community as a smalltown lawyer, then as a succesful youtuber.

He had basicly everything that most people might never have and/or try to achieve and he gives it up for a lifestyle that going to destroy him and everything around him (mostly his family).

I can't remember who was maintaining the Balldoguard list, but if Mersh isn't on it then he belongs on it immediately.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=oIe8mT0-jvU
Unless Mersh is so irrelevant that he doesn't fulfill the "public figure" status pre-requisite.
i like the fact that Mersh is so irrelevant that the only way to talk about him is in other people's threads.

Nah, he's got one. It's just that few people give a shit. The two funniest things he does are:

1. Spaz out about Metokur, and then get felted by Metokur in return.
2. Literally stroke out.

I just know one day I'm gonna wake up and read he straight up died on stream.

Now I am curious if people will still say that the the 16 year old boy should have taken care of his 3 siblings and his coked out 9 year old little sister 🤔

Edit: Grammer
The '16 year old should've taken care of four other kids utterly alone' argument was wacko enough that it now wouldn't surprise me.

"You tell me he saw the baggie out there and didn't put it away? Come ON."

Daily drinking and cocaine usage will make up for a lot of missed years of retardation.

He has functionally ruined his brain and his ability to judge risk/reward, and unfortunately as part of that he can't recognize that he's now a fucking moron, and still conducts himself as if he were still the guy he used to be. Aaron talked about how Nick would use cocaine for 'stress', but a lot of the times stress is the brain's way of telling you your situation is fucked. It's MEANT to be stressful to be in filthy surroundings, because the emotion exists to get you to change those surroundings. It's meant to be stressful to go on livestream and torpedo your case and insult the judge, because it's a fucking bad idea and you shouldn't do it.

He's hit the snooze button on his brain for so long the button is just stuck in now.

he never had irl friends. all he had is drexel, a self confessed groomer coomer. I said it before, not having a close circle of normies to grow up with means nobody challenged any of his stupid intrusive thoughts and no baseline to what is socially and behaviorally "normal".

Any confirmation on if the trial will be livestreamed?
If so, I expect it to be on par with if not just below the Darrell Brooks trial in terms of entertainment value.

There is a thread on the legal case. Updates will be posted there and questions should as well.

Null put together a bunch of affidavits to request media access, and should be filing them at some point. The trial (if it ever occurs) will happen in 2025--late, if I had to guess--and that assumes no procedural bogs or stall tactics are employed. There is time yet.

Sorry to be pedantic but can we not use tracker links to Twitter? And can we also archive at least with a picture?

No, this is correct. Always sanitise your links and make an archive when possible.

If you do not know how, peruse the technical threads for archiving. Null wrote one called Archival 101. You can ask, but be prepared to be treated like a newfag, so at least try first, or accept the ribbing.

I believe that the 'odd' circumstance has occurred and we can infer much from how this spectacle plays out.

I have money on at least an attenpted move out of Minnesota for all Rekietas concerned at the conclusion of the criminal case if they are not locked up.
I’m sure Nick would move to Florida with April tomorrow if he wasn’t stuck in the muck.

Nick’s parents might want to keep an eye on him but Florida is about the worst state in the country for a coke head to move to unless the elder Rekeita’s are interested in seeing if Nick can snort away his entire trust fund in five years.

Nick’s main problem would be keeping Kayla on the leash. If she would file for divorce and custody his life gets x10 more complicated. His plan is probably to try and keep her under his thumb, get the kids back and then try to decamp to another state where divorce laws are more friendly to his needs. She would be completely isolated from any family or community support but would have to remain there to see her children.

Nick really just wants to shed his wife and kids so that he can do blow and MDMA with April, but he seems determined to make getting to that point as painful and difficult for everyone else in his life as is possible.

Im convinced his public pronouncements against divorce and pledges of monogamy are as much for Kayla and family as they are for his BS public persona grift. Nick definitely has some “masculine ideal” in his brain but he fails to live up to it in almost every way.

I find it disturbing nobody took the kids in from Kayla or rekietas family. His sister had one grown ass kid, Kayla has God knows how many siblings and family in the area and rackets parents are healthy boomers by the look of it. NOT OF THEM COULD GET THE KIDS?! wtf?

I have not seen anything posted about Minnesota specifically, but there are states that have programs where family members are allowed to be provisional licensed foster parents and house children while they go through licensing. The licensed foster parents referred to in the documents could be a family member. IIRC correctly Kayla's parents have been foster parents, so they may even be currently licensed.

Procedure.
It’s not always the best idea to just send kids to a family members house after being found in a drug den.

It takes steps to get there. I’m sure they are working behind the scenes to ensure that.

Given what we know about Nick he would be trying to keep his family and in-laws away from each other, but I don’t see how that can work given the five grandkids. Both families banding together to save the grandkids, and let Kayla and Nick flounder until they get clean, is the best case scenario.

This brings up a question I've had in the speculation about whether Kayla's parents are fostering the kids and maybe that they were not able to provide space or whatever else is required of your home to foster children: why haven't Nick's parents flown up and taken that role? They already have a house there, and they have the means to outfit it (or hell, buy and furnish one that has the space) for 5 kids? I can hardly believe grandparents would let those kids go into foster care when they have the means to take them on. My parents would spend their last dime rather than let my kids go live with strangers in a foster situation.
As of the Steel Vaginas podcast yesterday, April is wearing a watch Nick gave her in her profile picture. If that's to be believed, then that answer is yes, she will stay.
If that's true (and I listened to most of that stream, too, soj know he said it, just don't know if it's right), that is an astonishing thing to do and a huge fuck you to Kayla. I want to say I can't believe Nick would have been OK with that, but at this point...

A d to your earlier question, the house they have been living in belongs to a trust, but Nick and Kayla own the other one together. Suspicions are that April may be living there (OK that may be another Aaron speculation based on the fact that a check relating to some insurance company payout to April was sent to the Rekietas' PO box)
The Cops don't always play fair or nice. I would not rule out someone connected with the case, assuming the Nick Circus has really caught their attention among the piles of crap they deal with daily. Anyway Someone connected with the case may have noted Nick's scheduled glorious return to streaming, and dropped the document, or tipped somebody off that it was in the system, just to see what Baldo would do on stream.

If this is in fact what happened, it's kind of brilliant. It's a relatively trivial child privacy violation, which the Juvee and Family Court Judge may pitch a fit about. But it's not a Police or Prosecution Document. It's not something they have any responsibility or accountability for. The Privacy violation is The Kids, not Nick's. Nick has no privileges, protections or rights with regards to the document. So it has no impact on his criminal case. And Nick is not the kids advocate at this time. Note they did not leak this until after the court ruled to keep the kids.

And it got exactly the reaction on stream that they were likely hoping for. The Lawpope frothing shrieking and screaming. Saying things that will end up buying his lawyer a new Porsche.

You have to admire the strategic nastiness of it. And just how stupid Nick is.
CHIPS case information is publicly available at a public access terminal at a court. Anyone could have looked it up and, if the actual document was there, snapped photos of the screen.

All indications are that Nick's parents are still on side with Nick. Nick's dad was one of the 3 witnesses in the document that got posted and it's possible they are the foster parents (since he was not listed by name in the list of people present, and the only people not listed by name were the foster parents).

From what I gather, Ty Beard, who was Nick's grandfather's lawyer, was basically showing support.
But we don’t know what Nick dad would have been saying in testimony, but seems safe to assume it’s that Nick is a very good boy.

Got to wonder if Dad thinks April is a great addition to the family. I think Nick’s dad got his hopes up that Nick was finally achieving some real adult success with his livestream stuff and is having trouble accepting he ruined it all and is just a degenerate fuck up ruining his life while doing piles of cocaine. Dad might have a bad copium habit.

Not clear if the “foster parents” at the hearing were Kayla’s parents, but it seems likely. I think if they weren’t the foster parents they would have been named as witnesses like Nick’s dad.

I wish we knew if foster parents are advocating against the kids being returned, but that’s the vibe I get. I could see Nick convincing his Dad that the Kayla clan are enemies plotting his destruction along with Scandinavian prudes and a vast county government conspiracy. I’m positive Nick wouldn’t want Kayla communicating with her family, and if they are the foster parents that would make it a lot easier to keep them separated. Nick and Kayla can only be around the kids under court approved supervision. (But family members can be approved to be an individual supervising visits.)

Based on the report it seems like CPS don't want to allow it for now, which is kinda rare but far from unheard of.
