It was never explicitly stated - just what most of us think as a result of Woolie/Pat keeping the podcast.

Even if Woolie gets $0 from it - it's more visibility for him. If anyone watches it and thinks "this is good - wonder what those guys are doing these days?" they'll find his Twitch channel (maybe). Woolie and Pat really like to pretend that they (and they alone) make things popular. Pat's absolute smugness about Yakuza (an already very popular game series) getting more popular after the SBFP Yakuza 4 LP is generally his most blatantly obnoxious takes - "I sold more copies of Yakuza then SEGA".

Even after all this time, Pat shilling for what is already shaping up to be a soulless and tone-deaf remake of a cult classic and medium milestone that he personally loves so dearly would probably kill the last shred of integrity he's still holding on to.

I'm similarly mad because I never experienced it, even after explicitly hiring pawns with dragon aids, and seeing beyond a doubt that my own pawn was infected. It sounded like the kind of mechanic I wouldn't expect modern games to have the balls for.
NPCs don't respawn, but they're interred in the local morgue, where you can use wakestones (semi-rare consumable item) to raise them one by one, or use the single giga wakestone in the game to raise them all at once. If you don't, they stay dead forever. At least they used to.

Woolie is also pretty lazy. More than anything - Tablelords was probably hard to manage with getting several people schedules to line up with how generally unenthusiastic people seem to be about Woolie collabs and the setups were frequently low effort/resolution compared to the studio setup. I didn't watch many but don't recall setups that weren't Reggie/Minh/Woolie/Wife and one or two poorly placed webcams/microphones.

Woolie also more than anything considers himself to be a "big ideas" guy - Tablelords isn't new or innovative enough for him, he has to find something no one has ever done or thought of before. Which is what drives his really weird setup, his really weird schedule, and his really weird drive to not network. Ironically, all he's "innovated" is a crude mockery of a dead radio show.

To be fair, he's actually played The Medium and that alone is enough to convince someone these polacks don't know how to make a Silent Hill game. It doesn't help that konami is doing an amazingly poor job of advertising the game with its trailers.

I like how he didn't know who they were (supposedly) but instantly sussed out he's a tranny. I know it's obvious but it's still funny.
 
Pat and Pagie streamed summer game fest. Reggie actually jumps in the chat to say hi and Pats reaction is "Wait why are you in our chat shouldn't you be streaming right now with Woolie?" Pat then checks Woolies stream and sees hes streaming nothing and starts laughing as Woolie is deciding not to stream summer game fest or even some stupid shit against it.
