When I read things like this: it’s like the best endorsement for DJT I can think of. Even if he doesn’t do anything to the troons, the amount of them offing themselves thinking he’s going to kill all of them will mean he doesn’t actually have to address the tranny problem (which would likely be banning hormones for minors at most.)

It follows that men will have very active libidos, while women will be more selective about partners and external conditions. And I think you can see that in homosexual males especially. Straight people on average have less than a dozen sexual partners over their lifetime; gay men are, I’ve been told, generally into their hundreds. That’s the unrestrained male libido.

This is much higher than I have seen, and again based on self-reporting in large sample surveys, there's a lot of variability with it being like 30% ish reporting a significantly higher count than the baseline, though from what I recall the average was elevated even from the baseline population. In this case at least, self-reporting is the only datasource, and if there is a bias, it does seem to lean towards inflating numbers (because dudes).

In terms of evolution, prostate stimulation is probably just a spandrel with no specific purpose. Like you said, evolution is not survival of the best, though I would characterize it as more "survival of the good enough". Not all traits are necessarily adaptive; some are incidental and arise due to structural constraints or developmental pathways. In the case of the prostate, the prostatic plexus, which sits literally on the prostate and is attached to it, is the complex of nerves that innervates the genitals in men. When you're stimulating the prostate, you are directly stimulating that plexus. It could easily be that the reason why prostate stimulation is possible is just that that big nerve bundle had to be somewhere, and it ended up being in a position that allows stimulation.

My wife of 11 years has told me that if I transition to a woman she will not be attracted to me a want a divorce. She says she loves and supports me but will not continue a relationship with someone who looks like a woman. I get that one cannot change sexual orientation.

I don’t know how to come back from this. How can I feel pretty dressed as a woman in makeup if the one person who has always been there for me does not want to be with me looking that way?

real answer:

Spoiler: evolutionary biology, anatomy

human sexual dimorphism is somewhat imperfect, there are some areas where one sex exhibits some of the other sex's traits despite them having no purpose in this sex.
the most obvious example of this is how men have nipples and mammary glands. they're small and underdeveloped, but they're there.
another example is females having a clitoris, which is basically a small and underdeveloped penis.
a third example, and the one that is relevant to this, is that females have an organ called 'skenes gland' which produces various vaginal secretions, and it is homologous to the prostate in males (they develop from the same embryo tissue)
in females this gland sits somewhere in between vagina and urethra, and it is highly sensitive to stimulation, some say this gland is behind the female 'g spot' thing.
now back to evolution: this gland being highly sensitive in females is a pretty obvious evolutionary advantage (makes vaginal sex more fun) so that's why it is selected for. but because of how it develops from the same part of the embryo that forms the prostate in males, an unintended side effect of this selection is that the male prostate also ends up being highly sensitive. and because in males there is no vagina, the bladder and prostate sit right next to the rectum instead, hence the 'banana up the asshole' thing.

tl;dr it's not an evolutionary advantage in itself, it's an unintended byproduct of the selection process for another trait (in evo bio they call such effects 'spandrel')
