Also I've seen discussion over whether Kayla wants to get clean or not. She's still a failed mother, but if she did leave Nick and get clean, she could at least try and work towards making things right in the end. I'm sure her kids at least would recognize the effort to fix things, and while certainly not forget all that she did, but certainly forgive her.

But this woman can't wake up for anything except doing more drugs, not even to stop the kids from being in the car with a drunk driver, so I'm not optimistic on the idea of her do anything requiring more effort than doing drugs.

Impractical and overkill, but if you have nothing behind you for a mile or so then it can be used. .22LR is a better choice for ground hogs, racoons, squirrels -quieter, less bullet travel, cheaper, and the pest doesn't explode into a bloody mess.

Nope. Wrong. A commercial round labeled as .223 can only be as hot as the specifications allow. 5.56 NATO is a "hotter" round. Bullet weight and design plays a factor in what is better for taking down larger game. Reloading is a different story.

I wager that no .223 made in the last two+ decades isn't designed knowing 5.56 NATO could and will likely end up in the chamber. Just from a product liability standpoint nobody would dare sell it. There are reloaders that make much hotter .223 rounds for hunting. Exceeding the standard amount of powder to far exceed 3000 FPS -sometimes pushing 3200+. They aren't blowing up their chambers.

Plus, generally speaking, engineers design in fudge factors that exceed specifications by quite a bit.

Pretty sure this was said because Kayla probably didn't want to admit to the cops that her husband's girlfriend was living with them. Nick probably would go with the same story.
