Read the charge descriptions, they both have the same charge description despite Kayla getting a different statute referenced. There is the fuckup somewhere, the question is where.

Rate me optimistic, but I think this is a typo. If you look on the order for detention for Kayla, it's the exact same description for the charge against Nick.

What you posted shows the a/a2 citations and Nick's shows the b2. The charge description is the same, so the question is if the error is the citation or the charge description on her sheet.

If the charge description is the error, then it seems they did what I thought but still think is crappy statutory drafting bc b2 is a neglect, not abuse, charge: nick is charged with the act and Kayla is charged with permitting it. If that's right, then they seem to perceive him as the primary decision maker or owner of the drugs. Doesn't seem right.

On the other hand, if the error is the citation, seems like a hard error to make to go and grab a completely different reference for no reason. Forgetting to change the charge description if duping a document seems a more likely oversight, but @break these cuffs makes a good point:
