Nick really has the dumbest of friends. He acts so concerned about Nick's kids, yet when he asks the question of "Hey, I wonder how this is going to affect his kids in X years?" He's asking THE WRONG FUCKING PERSON.

Why don't you direct that question to the person that was actually charged with the endangerment of the children you absolute pile? Asking the people simply talking about it is meaningless, and you will get nowhere. While sure, you could also argue asking the man that actually committed the crime of putting them in such danger is also pointless, but that gets into...

Nick was not meant to be a father, but he did it anyway. Why? Hell if I know.

Your children become THE most important thing in your life, no matter what, and this lolbertarian wetbrain is more concerned about what HE wants rather than his own children's safety. This indicates he is NOT ready to be a father, regardless of being age 42, and currently lacks the qualifications to take care of anybody else in a household.

The majority of posts in this thread have been concern for his children. Even when he was his hedonistic heel turn, which is absolutely fine I'm not a moral fag about what consenting adults do sexually, everyone expressed concern for the effects it'd have on the kids.

Tldr; cope and sneed.

The whole weird druggy sex-obsessed situation reminds me of this. This is genuinely harmful for the kids. I'm not saying cherry popsicle happened, but that's the sort of situation that can eventually lead to cherry popsicle.

Let's just say after seeing Nick's studio, CPS or Law Enforcement will be interested in going through every frame of every file on his electronic devises.

Send me the rainbows but there is the possibility of a massive redemption arc here. If I were Nick, here is what I would do to try and salvage my future:
  1. Make arrangements for my parents to take my kids for 60-90 days.
  2. Go to a reputable in-patient rehab facility.
  3. The only stream until rehab is complete would be on the way to the facility. Apologize, promise to try your best to get sober and come back to Lawsplaining when sober.
  4. Complete rehab (the hardest part).
  5. Once back home, jump right into an interesting trial that is starting and live stream the whole thing. In the down time tell amusing anecdotes about getting sober.
  6. Stop night streaming and stream instead during the day, or in the evening.
  7. Settle with Montagraph
  8. Profit ... enough to help pay for the incoming legal bills and Montograph's settlement.
He could come out of this. At this point I would say he has a good 30% chance of getting through this with his family in tact, but he has to come to Jesus first.
>stream during the day

No, see, then the wine aunts won't be able to super chat him because they're busy being bank tellers or office floosies.

Someone may have already made this but I don't care. I hope the swinger childs enjoyed county jail.

Question. Could Nick offer to do his wife sentance as well as his own to get his wife off?

In order to go this route, he would have had to have admitted that the drugs and guns were all his at the time of arrest, and that his wife had nothing to do with any of it.

I know a girl who was living with a guy who was dealing cocaine -- in fairly significant quantities. They were living together. Both living off the proceeds of his cocaine dealing. But the dope was his, the connection was his, the profits were his.

One of their customers got busted. (This is back in the 80's in a major US metropolitan area.) In order to get their sentence reduced, they were expected to arrange a buy. So they came back the following day and bought a quarter ounce of cocaine. No sooner had the customer left the apartment having made the buy than the police came through the door.

They didn't usually keep such large quantities on hand, but for some reason the boyfriend's dealer had asked him to hold two kilos. So in come the police and find two kilos of cocaine. Because the girl had been the one who had served up the customer, she knew she was pretty well nailed. She admitted her part and denied her boyfriend had anything to do with it. So, charged with two kilos, supply, etc. etc. etc.

Now, this was the time of mandatory minimums. Two kilos could get you a life sentence back then. Fortunately for her, she was from a good middle class family, could afford decent legal representation, ivy league educated, etc. etc. Went to rehab, Got clean. Began living a productive life. Dragged the case out for many, many years. Eventually, the judge dropped the charges. No time served at all.

But the boyfriend was never even charged. Point being, if Rekieta was going to attempt to Kayla, he should have started at the point when the police came though the door. The longer you wait, the harder it gets.

At this point I would say he has a good 30% chance of getting through this with his family in tact,
0%

Theres no way they're letting the kids stay with him. Sorry. He can still unfuck his own life and get a chance to spend time with them years from now but he's not at all remorseful about whats happening so even that is unlikely.

Another thing I considered: Even Daddy Dax hasn't been caught up with a charge this severe or heinous (tbf, yet anyway).

Don't know if anyone has tried this yet, but here's an AI upscale of whatever document this was. I'm losing track of shit, but I hope it's more legible now.

I'm guessing the pastor didn't take to kindly to Nick's rant about protestants gathering children up on Wednesdays to "molest" them.

5/16 is a Thursday - perhaps after Nick dropped off the kids the pastor had time to talk to them to see what was going on. My guess is the 6 year old is very confused and scared about what was going on with Mom/Dad and did not understand the drugs/booze - or the new nanny.

Not a lawyer, but it's very common (and smart) for defendants to shut the fuck up until they can strike a guilty plea deal with the prosecutor. I understand why people would assume Nick isn't ever planning on taking a guilty plea. But him not coming out on locals and proclaiming his guilt shouldn't really be treated as evidence of what direction he'll go. There's already tons of evidence that he'll cope and sneed based on the last two fucking years. To me this isn't really evidence of much.

Nick likely doesn't WANT a deal, since he knows any deal with the prosecutor would involve not doing drugs/alcohol and getting tested for a considerable amount of time.

The perspective of not being able to swill booze or do fat lines, hurts him more than anything.

Hence, he will go for bust and try to get it all dismissed/get found not guilty.

It won’t work, but it’ll be hilarious.

Maddox is active on Twitter atm, posting clips about his feud with Nick Rekieta from his "When Fans Become Stalkers" documentary and shitting on the fallen lawyer in general:

Remember when maddox used to have an entire reddit style page of his musings and people found it funny? Now he can't even put a balldo reference in his "starter kit" outdated meme. For fucks sake, dude.

"Hey guys, I've been a little busy as you imagine but nothing you've seen or read was true and it's all guchi. Anyway! Back to doing shows! Stay tuned"

Lmaooooo the cope is already starting strong. I suspect we're going to see his life completely unravel in the coming month with him desperately trying to pretend nothing is happening.
My first thought was that he should just start up a stream and pretend nothing whatsoever happened, ignore the literal 99.9% of chats that would reference the arrest, and when he gets up to take a drunken pee break play Shaggy's It Wasn't Me

There's a better chance of Jim living 30 more years than this happening.
