It's because the joint savings account at bank of america he shares with clint, is really scummy and absolutely the wrong choice for a retard who can't add 1+1 without a calculator and has a habitual problem with overspending. What likely happened is, he ordered the bell and while it was processing ordered booze or food for delivery putting his account in the negative or just leaving not enough money for the bell. It's why he's literally always in the negative. He knows he has 100$ in his account, well an 80$ pizza and a 40$ booze delivery are both less than 100$ so he should be fine, right?

ETA: after seeing the facebook messages "having other priorities" means Clint saw a 608$ transaction and made him cancel it since he's currently getting blackout drunk in his basement. Fucking 600, what a goober lol

Is the price honestly that shocking? He regularly turns $10-$15 meals into $50+ meals because he needs to have everything on them.

I thought it would have been $300 max because when I looked up places that do engravings and stuff for bells they were all in the $200-$300 range. Him trying to drop $600 on a bell isn’t shocking so much as it is just absurd and hilarious

Do you know this for a fact, that they have a shared account? Has Cobes said so? Because in all likelihood Clint is the representative payee for Cobes' SSI payments. The money would go directly to Clint. It wouldn't go to a shared account because that would defeat the purpose of Clint being a payee. And I do strongly suspect Clint is a payee because I don't believe Cobes is capable of dutifully paying his rent/utilities of his own accord. Even if they do have a shared account, it wouldn't be where the SSI is deposited. It would be a separate account that Clint pays into, after monthly essentials are paid.
 
It's a shame he isn't buying the bell. Obviously that's a lot of money, but it was nice to see cobes buy himself something that isn't doordash or alcohol for once. I'd argue that drooling over a bell like a retard all day is more productive and mentally stimulating than whatever he's doing now.

Yes and yes.
Cobra has a separate account for the tugboat which he does not have access to, because when he did he spent the money and could not pay rent. Clint has complete control over this account and it's why Cobra has his rent paid on time without problems. It also covers his bills and some groceries. (which Tanis routinely goes shopping and delivers for him). The only bill Cobra was responsible for, though it might've changed in the last 2 years, was his Internet. He frequently didn't have enough to pay it, and Clint might've taken that over as well since he hasn't had problems with his Internet in a while and Clint now believes youtube to be good for Josh since he has "friends" an outlet, and makes money. All of Josh's donations and paypal/cashapp etc goes into a shared account, "his savings account" which is a joint account managed (less managed, and more monitored, which is why he gets a phonecall or text whenever he goes negative, from Clint) by Clint at bank of america.

I think he's just resigned himself of any further involvement. So long as the BOY is out of his hair it doesn't matter what he does as long as it doesn't get in the way of the do-over family. What I'm surprised about is him not spending another $58 so he could spend a cool $666 on it yootoob.
