Apparently, Aaron said on an episode of Steel Toe a while back that April is/was helping with driving the Rekieta children around. The person who pointed it out is immensely trustworthy, and I believe they were looking for a timestamp within the turgid mess that is Steel Toe.

From what I have seen, Aaron has a terrible relationship with his children, ex, and his own parents because he was the one to step out of the marriage. April is supposedly wanting to help repair that by being a mother to Aaron's children, but it is not working out too well--at least that I how I see it. This would also explain her chauffeuring the racklets.

April's issues might be slightly driven by the desire to take care of Aaron and his children, but not being able to do so. She might also be feeling like she has missed out on the 'Mum' role as she nears 30. My guess is that Nick is doing some family court practice or advising for them to try to defuse the tension in the marriage. I am sure the speeding tickets do not help, so he may have offered to help them too.

There's no way we can tell you that, because there's a very good chance that's exactly what happened. At this point it might even be his supposed 107 degree organ melting temperature cancelation was related to the Imholtes somehow.
