As the solitary DSL user of Kiwifarms, it would help a lot to quicken up the site for everybody

That is 150 megabytes less than the Orange Book standard for a CD-R, and we're at a point of time when even a 48x CD-ROM drive copies data slower than downloading it over a typical residential internet connection from another residential connection on the other side of the world.FIVE. HUNDRED. MEGABYTES.
People who complain about WebP are poor and are using outdated software. IT'S 2024, WEBP IS THE BEST IMAGE COMPRESSION FORMAT, JPEG IS OLD AND GAY. GET WITH THE TIMES.Why didn't they make NFTs WebP images? That'd solve the "right click, save" mockery because nobody wants those fucking things on their computer even to flex on cryptobros.
A million bajillion programs handle images for various reasons and about 0.05% of them can use webp. I don't give a single fuck about compression efficiency compared to wasting time with a format that's incompatible with everything.People who complain about WebP are poor and are using outdated software.

Spend more on internet nigger. Literally using 3 decade old internet technology.People who complain about WebP are poor
I've noticed that using WebP instead of JPEG for Internet memes saves about 20-50 KB. Multiply that over 10.000 times, and you have FIVE. HUNDRED. MEGABYTES. The savings add up!I don't give a single fuck about compression efficiency compared to wasting time with a format that's incompatible with everything.
That's because we the people are not campaigning enough to make WebP the standard. How about instead of bitching about "muh compatibly", we expand open source program's abilities to properly handle WebP images?A million bajillion programs handle images for various reasons and about 0.05% of them can use webp.
Don't actually use DSL, just said that for the meme.Spend more on internet nigger. Literally using 3 decade old internet technology.
Wow, that's 0.025% of the hard drive I spent 60 whole bucks on. That's not even enough to matter to the kind of autist who would collect 10,000 meme images.I've noticed that using WebP instead of JPEG for Internet memes saves about 20-50 KB. So you gonna volunteer to do it? It's open source, if you want a feature, go clone the repo, add it in and get it added to the project. How about instead of bitching about "muh compatibly", we expand open source program's abilities to properly handle WebP images?
Well your autism about a shitty unsupported format is even more dumb then.Don't actually use DSL, just said that for the meme
This would help in the server space. Google needs to pinch their pennies youknow.Wow, that's 0.025% of the hard drive I spent 60 whole bucks on. That's not even enough to matter to the kind of autist who would collect 10,000 meme images.
Only know Python, not well versed enough in programming to help advance WebP, yet! But I can assure you that you will be converted to my ways within 5 years or less.So you gonna volunteer to do it? I compress every single one of my files in 7zip format to squeeze those last few bits out of the file size. If you use anything else because it's more convenient or compatible, you're a sheep.ITT: nigger cattle who would have been equally mad at JPEG pre-1991 because it wasn't GIF or BMP

Thanks, I'll get to learning someday.
Better get learnin' then.
gif is hilariously inefficient (4 megs for one medium res photo, really?) and bmp is exclusively lossless, offering no lossy mode. WebP offers both a lossless and lossy compression mode. Why dont we use gif and bmp
Its superior to jewpeg
Reduced to a tenth the size, 300 KB to 30 KB.neutralized all your webpee saved space

Lucky StarHey man I have a question, have you ever watched anime, and, if you have, please list out everything you've watched.
