Just give me Kid Icarus Uprising with non-touch controls, most of the other heavy hitters can be comfortably emulated. But I’ll also take Kirby Planet Robobot (and Triple Deluxe, why not), Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, A Link Between Worlds, Dragon Ball Fusions, and an HD remaster of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright.

Once you play 3DS on a big screen upscaled to 720p, it’s hard to go back. It’s not like upscaling N64 where the low-poly just looks sharper, 3DS models feel like they were made to be seen at a higher resolution.

2ds was sold as an 80 USD bundle with Mario kart. So they could probably do it extremely cheap, but they won’t, because they want you to buy the switch.

Maybe they’ll pull a SEGA and license it out to a Brazilian company to sell for 50 bucks in 10 years though.

Late, but holy shit please!!

I am the resident EO fan. If it happens, tomorrow will be a great day. It would be crazy to see too given that Nintendo has pretty much forgotten about the IP to the point that not even Smash references it. Having this and Another Code comeback will make for a good send off in my book.

I always assumed this was the console’s last year. Them releasing the next in March again makes a lot of sense. People will complain about a drought, but that is practically the end of every Nintendo system. Switch is on a remake fest now just to buy time.

I could see Awakening. 3DS really didn’t have much TBH. Once you get past Kirby and FE, the rest of the titles never were that impressive/memorable. I guess exceptions would be Kid Icarus and Zelda TLBW was fine.

Maybe they can try to revive Project Steam, Dillon or Pushmo?

I know you’re joking, but Johto may be due for another game soon, either Let’s Go or Legends. Please be Legends. Or throw the mainline games in the trash and give me a new Mystery Dungeon/remake of Explorers of Sky.

I knew I was forgetting something. The first game got a remaster/half-sequel on Wii U, but that’s it. I’d be happy to see it come back.

They can also bring back Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball. That game got infamous for having a character not found on Google. Dude had to go to Chris Chan as Chris was the only one who would have bought all the items full price to view said character.
