Lets be real here, Led poisoning isn't going to make people who buy a fucking over priced mug any more stupid

Based Stanley Company turning the Zoomers into Boomers with lead poisoning.

"I hope the lead I'm mining will be used in your cup"

From what ive read, they use it as a plug for the vacuum seal surrounding the inner liner. Unless you bash the bottom of the stainless steel tumbler open, you're fine
+ Lead is only dangerous if it breaks off and enters the body, it's not like uranium where exposure to it in your general vicinity will kill you

Lead honestly has a LOT of uses due to its properties. It's soft, malleable, heavy, cheap to acquire, and has a low melting point, making it good for sticking things together with higher melting points. It's why it's used in solder. It makes a very good "glue" if you will, as well as counterweight.

To expand on this, how many things in our world are dangerous if they're ingested? The only reason lead became such a household scare name is because it was used in things that commonly chip, like paint, and on items like children's toys that often get put into kids' mouths
It's largely harmless as a solid piece of metal used on things that wouldn't reasonably come close to one's mouth
Granted, a vessel for food kinda starts skirting that line...

I agree fully that there was way too much lead at one point. We were even putting it in gasoline, meaning it came right back out the exhaust. Still, I think it's demonized too much. It has plenty of uses that won't even affect a person. And at least with the Stanley, it's stuck in the base of a stainless steel can. Unless you break it open with a saw or angle grinder, you'll never know it's there. If you're worried, wash the inside.

Oh I'm sure somebody will find some reason to bitch about those too.

["it's all so tiresome" meme]
i imagine glass hasn't caught on with the pop-environmentalist faggots for various reasons, but the main one being- simply that no one is selling it to them
these people don't make their own decisions, they base it off of what's being marketed to them

IDK if this has already been memed to death but are you guys getting the new Dune coomer bucket?!?!? resize.jpg

Wait, that's real and not a shitpost? It looks so impractical.
All of these promotional popcorn buckets are essentially just novelty items meant to look "cool" on display, but be worthless otherwise. Here's some Disney autist with an entire collection of these things.

And the rest of his collection:

Ok I obviously have to ask the question too for these buckets....How much nut and piss is in each one do you think?

These videos of people fighting over them have to be set up by Target and/or the company.
I'm late to this trend. I've been seeing "stanley cup" memes in the pic thread and I thought NHL made some new woke faggot stanley cup. This is blatantly some viral marketing aids.

Glass straws are very popular and big sellers already. They even come with a cute little rose in them for only 1USD at every fueling station, right next to the chore boy. They're just marketed to a different crowd.

I don't think I'd buy a glass one to carry around. I'd be too afraid to accidentally drop it or have its case knock around a little too hard in my bag. For home sure.

Good ones are more durable than you think and come with carrying cases, but then you have the carrying case problem.

How the fuck do you use lead in current year?
Do they make these things with lead solder?
Aren't these things just stamped and press formed stainless steel?
It's for the vacuum. Here's a Yeti cut in half for comparison.

You make the form of the container with a little hole in the bottom. Then you put it in a vacuum chamber and suck out all the air. Plug the hole with a metal that has lead in it so air can't get in, then refill the vacuum chamber. Now you have a vacuum bottle.
