I've seen this a couple of times for ebay businesses funny enough. The majority of their sales seems to come from tiktok/youtube/instagram shorts of them organizing their stock, which is both an ad for the new thing and brings in people who just like watching organization.I almost posted a video about reeeestocking aesthetics yesterday, it featured this woman. I guess I'll post it now. Watch at least the first segment featuring theartisan ice cubes.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=PEY8IyB653cBasically these people make a living by showcasing products and then shilling you their affiliate links so they make a commission off of the crap their audience purchases.
Restock influencers/aesthetics as a trend actually isn't new. I remember years ago it was one of the first things I saw on tiktok. It's just become really huge now and is an established business model.
Also I find none of the ones she showed satisfying. Give me someone showing their granny closet packed to the brim with random crap and organizing it. This just looks sad and corporate, though I guess that's the intention on the corporate part.
