It looks good tbh. I like how you manipulated the font to your advantage, but not quite so sure about it if it works as an actual logo. At the end of the day it´s just plain text. I guess you can use the FAV as logo, if that was your intention? Similar to FB or a ton of other companies who have a stylized first letter of the name which basically is their logo. IDK it just needs something more.

Two new trial and error versions, more error than anything else. Didn´t really come together as I thought it would, but if you want to start an airline one day...

Back to the FAV as a logo without any kind of actual icon. You can use it as standalone, or add the "orr.it" somehow. I am not sure it is an interesting solution, merely one that may suffice. The prob is the space after the V mostly. You almost have to use it. With the letters underneath when you space it out you have still the empty space, so kind of no. Insofar having it smaller makes more sense, otherwise IMO your eyes are more drawn to what is NOT there than what is. Similar to the actual Kiwi Farms logo, different font, different size for the rest of the name. Two variations in black/white.

@Ambivalenz Hey, I've an idea: take the right arm up of the V and push it straight up, like the spine of the F.

This is looking really good now. Try flat-topping the V's spine. The ORRIT definitely looks better laying under, since it adds some balance.

Needs more work and finetuning but it can be done. The right part of the V may look better if straighten out so it´s one flat line with the F and A. Maybe?
Na, it looks better the way you did it. I made a few quick sketches for fun and tried the aligned version.

Looks a bit crude right now, but when done right... variation of fonts, undecided what really goes together better as a whole.

Top one is better, but that's the right direction. Do me a solid and make three variations of the first.

1. Drag the ORR.IT out vertically so that the icon (as a whole) fits a canvas size of 1:1 (make it square).

2. Change the text of the first one (without vertical stretching) and change it to FAVORR.IT (so that it's duped: FAV / FAVORR.IT)

3. Do the same thing as #1 but with FAVORR.TT

I think I've inadvertently created the NIN logo but that's OK with me.

Are you able to do vectors?

I dont know tbh, most likely not. Tried it only once so far and it was far from stellar. Might make more sense if you have someone available who knows what they are doing. Sorry.

I could do. The text under the stuff was a font, wasn't it? If you tell me its name I'd save a lot of work.

Edit:
Do you want the finished product with the black background? Do you want the color as it is or a transient color? I made two example ones. The first with solid colored outlines the second with transparent ones (and sligthly smaller).

The svg.data is my working one so you can see that I actually can produce these.

Edit2: Got the font.
Edit3: Nope I was wrong, it wasn't one of the earlier specified fonts. If you tell me where to get it I'll gladly finish.

I hope these work correctly for you. The green one, the green-and-off-white one and my working file. I didn't transform the text into curves; if you need that just tell me.
It doesn't. The text has to be traced, otherwise it uses your available system fonts.
