How's this look?Way too cluttered. Less is more. I'm definitely a web2.0 faggot. But, it was definitely a step in the right direction removing the coloration and leaving only the pieces.
Would you rather it be in Brush Script instead?AAAAAH PAPYRUS. BURN!
I love the logo, but I personally feel like a cleaner font would fit with it better. Maybe a nice sans-serif font, maybe even roboto or something.View attachment 49367

Yeah, it's a really good logo, I like what you did, but try doing these things:I love the logo, but I personally feel like a cleaner font would fit with it better. Maybe a nice sans-serif font, maybe even roboto or something.
Really good, really close too. The alternate version is much better but I still feel the logos fight each other, especially in terms of perspective. It fucks you up looking at it because the bull lays flat against the camera and the wiki globe has pitch and yaw and a three dimensional aspect to it. It has to be one way or another.I'm having a lot of fun with this![]()
Dude it looks good. The stroke of the bottle gave it character, I'm sad to see it go. Here:
(obviously meant for a dark background, any of you peasants on the light forum theme won't properly see this)
That's fine, we'll work out the first item on the list and the rest will be easy.Dude it looks good.

Only problem is that it doesn't scale well into the ~40px range. Try making the text and the bottle congruent in height. Have the bottom double-underline around the bottom of the glass, and the tippiest top of the font near the top of the milk as well -- unless you think you can scale it better. I kind of like the dimensions of what you have now but unfortunately it doesn't work at small sizes.
The font itself is perfect. I'll need a few variations of this.
Basically, I'll need six SVGs:
1. The full logo with text and bottle. We'll work out proportions to make it look snazzy.
2. The text with white gradient by itself, canvas snug to font.
3. The text without gradient colored black (a la NYTimes logo), canvas snug to font.
4. The bottle. Make the canvas square.
5. The bottle, but pure black, square canvas like above.
6. Full logo with text and bottle, but black.
Basically I need the Logo Only, Logo+Text, Text Only, with both gradient and flat black variations.
So, something like this for #1?Really good, really close too. The alternate version is much better but I still feel the logos fight each other, especially in terms of perspective. It fucks you up looking at it because the bull lays flat against the camera and the wiki globe has pitch and yaw and a three dimensional aspect to it. It has to be one way or another.
Since I don't think there's much to be done to the skull, make two complete Globes:
1. One that's like the Wikipedia logo using the same gradients / colors you have now (i.e. built it back up towards the north pole again)
2. #1, but with icons. Just use a black or dark grey, like the Wikipedia lettering. Keep the shapes super simple.
The other issue with the globe is that it's not a good icon at a small size. WP and even ED use a letter for their favicon. Check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
our logo is our brand ok. I might be able to switch out the comics in the bg for lolcow themed ones though. This might be the wrong place for this, but I was wondering if it would be possible to have a "rotating logo", where we have one main logo, and then several lolcow themed variations on it that have a small chance of appearing.
I'm not dead.@Spelling Bee Dunno if you're still around mate, but do you have an SVG of that globe? Specifically, the puzzle pieces only + the one with pieces and the skull clipping the pieces.
