I assume it's more to do with charisma than the actual substance of the line. You could probably quote Industrial Society And Its Future at a girl and get in her pants if you've got the swagger.

That's because you guys use weak pick up lines. If you go up to a girl and tell her you want to beat her clit like a boxer beats a speedbag, you'd have better luck. Try the below:
