never thought about the farms having a tread on plastic crack, but now that i found it;
i recently got the legacy metroplex for 90 dollars.
i never spend on titans more then a 100, but because this one was the first that is missing things on the first one i skipped it and only got it now.
he is neat, but he just can't hold his weapon well at all. Also my original is yelowed af.

God I wish all I spent on Titans for myself was $100. Here it's $200 or more. Now that I've moved I have to deal with 13% taxes.

i get them only on discounts or market places. i see a shop here that still sells him for 260.

Gonna try to score a super7 Optimus Prime figure with show accessories. Held one in Vegas months back and fell in love with it.

They've also shown Cybertronian Wheeljack. I don't mind the look of his head and the individual forms but somethings a little off with the bot form. It's more chunk I think

the canons are massive on his torso and i love it.

Head looks too long and I'm gonna have to get used to 2 of the chest cannons getting moved to the le-wait can he even move his legs forwards?
It's so weird to me it looks like his transformation is a 1 to 1 basically so why is the torso so fucked up?

Unrelated to that I finally found legacy wildrider and Bombshell, two figures I really liked the design of. Wild rider was in some walmart promo that I think was a black friday thing despite it no longer being black friday? anyways it was the price of 1 and it came with 2 figures, something I haven't seen deal wise in fucking forever, much like I never saw wild rider stocked in stores! Bombshell however was not in the value pack, Knockout was. Not opening the Wild rider/knockout $25 combo pack christmas due to someone else paying for it but I'm glad to have these three.

He can, he has those weird ball hip joint things. He looks pretty animation/ game accurate for the body, not so much toy accurate though. The head however is close to toy. Biggest issue I have is that he is a very small Titan class. Another issue, everything connects to a frame similar to the Stunticons.

Ah so it's commander class figure as a "titan" now. I thought he leader voyagers and legends er excuse me CORE deluxes were gonna be the only ones like that. Now it's extended tot titans which are also more money.
Also, the placement of those guns is in no way animation or game accurate. The game model was based on the figure and if you look at that, the toy,a nd the animation those guns are slightly above the leg, not directly in front of them as a flap. To putit basically, they squished the torso in robot mode for some reason. Those photos don't get rid of my concerns about the leg articulation.

the combiners are also smaller then the others because they are multiple components, but the catch was that those parts also had robot modes...
is ramjet even included? why even include the combination when it only suffers for it?

the individual characters of combiners are the same size as other characters as well which gives them a bit of an exuse for the combined mode to be out of scale with how combiners are usually depicted, similar case with the onest hate are cities or spaceships. Tidal wave's robot mode is something that'd actually scale properly with the usual titan height. However, if that minicon port is anything to go by this new one's just slightly larger than the original figure, said original being roughly the same height as a lot of combiner figures the last few years. I realized what bothers me about the head a bi, the little earmuff looking sideparts aren't as defined as they should be in both sculpt and paint. They should be dark grey and sticking out just a bit more if they wanted an anime/takara release accurate one. the head isn't long like I first thought, it's squished.

I hope they wont charge a lot for him here, but chances are since he's about the same size as Metroplex he'll be about $214 plus taxes. Not really worth the price but least it's a character I want. Something this size should only be $120 tops.

Good news, doesn't seem Tidal Wave needs a frame support. What looks like a frame is just a terrible looking "basemode" they decide to give him.

It's weird that there's an added city base mode, "the darkfleet" was already meant to be his equivalent of a base mode. Speaking of which it'd have been perfect for a base mode for them to keep in the opening jet elevator hatch gimmick but looking at the photos it's just sculpted/painted on detail with a port wedged in the middle rather than a functional element like the butchering they did to armada megatron's stuff. They don't even have a budget excuse this time considering they literally just came out with Nemesis who has that gimmick in her forearms.

oh man him having tiny parts of himself in his back is such a waste, idd rather have ramjet then his "combining" with megatron.

they could have done somethingcool and made the parts that combine withmegatron a smaller tidal wave, but no they just made his back hollow so you can stuff faux-parts in. The last few titans after the ark it's been back to "no included deluxe" but the price is higher and other features are being skimped on here as well. I saw some other images and my leg articulation concerns seem to be confirmed because his front thing that cuts into the legs is a single flap that barely folds up, he more "lays down at an angle" than sits it seems. It's be "ok" if he couldn't sit if the legs had any forward but no it's like a worse version of potp hot rod legs on a titan.
