Supposedly anons prompt is <character> holding lit matchstick, smoldering gender identity flag (blue, pink, white stripes) fluttering in the wind, scorched, ignited. White background.

I just watched an episode of the 90s Sabrina the Teenage Witch, S2E6, Sabrina the Boy. She makes "boy brew" and turns into a boy, and so do both the aunts at times. It's pretty silly. It's surreal, watching it from thirty years on.
I revisited the episode and burst out laughing when she named herself Jack. I personally know two pooners who named themselves Jack and one of them is currently dirty blond with the same haircut as boy!Sabrina :lit:

Genderswap plotlines in teen shows and movies weren’t that uncommon in the 90s and 2000s, especially played for laughs. The swaps from girl to boy like that episode and She’s The Man have likely been an obsession for fledging lesbians and more masculine girls due to the implied romantic tension between the girl best friend and the gay tension with the male love interest. Given the time period, all these plotlines would resolve as a straight romance, but teen girls are known for twisting things they like to make them fit their own fantasies.

Yeah the image of Melissa Joan Hart dressed like Brandon Teena made me give watch it again. I haven't seen it since it was on the air. In the Halloween episode in season 1, Sabrina flings popcorn at the screen and simular gags because they had a 3D glasses gimmick one TGIF, and each show's episode had stuff like that.

Profit and Lace is the DS9 example, and it's a good episode. All the Ferengi and Klingon episodes were great on DS9.

Mirrors have always been symbols of truth. Eventually when the disguise is off, the mirror tells the truth, that you are who and what you are. Plastic surgery lets people buy into the metamorphosis lie. They can squint at the mirror to blur the distinctions, and suddenly even the mirror, the truth teller, agrees with them.

To paraphrase Wilde, the hatred of Kiwi Farms in the Twenty First Century is the rage of Caliban seeing his own face in a glass.

I love transphobic Daisy, all she's missing is a trooned out Bowser so she can kick his ass while exclaiming YWNBAW
