I bought a kilo of atomic fireballs, diabetes, here I come!

The spooder arrived in one piece and is now settling into new home! I ended up with a bold jumping spider and they look awesome!

Of course this doesn't guarantee it'll grow up to look like this but one can hope! I think it's a male, so it's probably going to be named Felix. If it turns out to be a girl I'm totally calling it Miss Finster.

Bought a portable DVD writer yesterday for my laptop, then immediately burned a CD. Also bought it for...

This anime DVD set I got for 12 bucks used, which had DVD ROM special features. I got really determined to see what was in there lol.

Not exciting, but very autistic: match striking surface stickers:

I always end up with a safety match/striker mismatch, especially with those big boxes. NO MORE.

the ones with small or flat asses are males it's the ones with the big spherical asses that are the females. There's a bunch of these jumping spiders everywhere though maybe not this specific coloration. I see a lot of brown, grey, or completely black ones in my state I don't really need to import them I just occasionally see em doing goofy neurotic spider shit around the house.

Are those little mandibles actually green? That’s so neat! How big do pet jumping spiders usually get? The wild ones I see are pretty tiny.

It's a little bit more tricky when they're babies though and generally don't develop the traits of their gender until they hit puberty. They're very goofy! Next time you encounter any watch if they notice you - they're capable of remembering what people look like and might recognise you!

The mandibles can be all sorts of colours! In the wild males usually have green/teal while females have purple/pink, but ethical breeders have produced some amazing variants!

The size depends on the species. Dorothy's just about the size of my thumbnail and she's an adult. Meanwhile you have species like the peacock jumping spider (the ones shown "dancing" in the two videos @glass_houses posted are these) which are tiny (5mm!) as adults. They live longer in captivity too - ranging from 1-2 years depending on genetics, care and so on and so forth. I seriously recommend reading up on jumping spiders even if you don't end up getting any. They're fascinating to learn about and are living proof that anything can be a cat or a dog if you try hard enough.

I don't know if this is true of wherever all of you are, but in my country we're full of fucking "Chinese malls", which aren't really malls but just big stores full of cheap imported chink shit made of chinesium. They're actually convenient to buy certain things, like kitchen utensils, mugs, some decorations, cheapass toys, etc,, but don't expect anything to be durable.

Anyway I went to one I found in an area I don't usually go to, and one of the first things I see is this little buddy here.

Of course I bought him immediately.
I love him.

I haven’t played my Nintendo Switch in almost three years, and this new game will be the first to make me charge it up again. The last game that made me do this was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and right now I think this might be a sign to what Mario based games will be like in the near future.

Decided to pick up another weird crafting hobby and am currently making scented candles in mason jars. My favorite so far is a mix of eucalyptus and mint oils, but sandalwood/vanilla and mint/grapefruit isn't far off.
