God Valley + Kuma Backstory

As in God Valley and Kuma are connected and since that’s obviously connected to Saturn…

Oda is addressing long running plot threads jointly and cutting around to multiple different things in this Arc. If he did not want to end it so soon he likely would not be writing this way. The 6 Vegapunks would actually have characters and the Traitor storyline would probably not had all the interesting points offscreened

As if he isn't going to spend multiple years writing the final battle.
 
I really dislike how Oda has handled Nika Lore. It went from no build up and the only way it was introduced being talked about by high ranking WG members to seemingly everyone of any importance having always known about it.

And there is no way Oda did nit have that olanned from the start and at the very least Sky Island and he just does not theead it in naturally. It’s irkesome

I did NOT expect the Gorosei would be this powerful, I thought they would be puppet masters, but not really fighters. Sanji achieved jackshit and Frankly outside of the assist is also powerless. They will definitely need to be saved by the Kuma giant robot combo. And there is still the blackbeard chaos factor

On the flashback,Christ, Kuma has had a shit life in every sense. We also get the name drop of why Kuma is so important and Bonnie is looking more important by the second (sge'll be this arcs Vivi but already fits better than Momo or Kinemon ever did). When I saw the supernovas I never expected Bonnie or Gege to have any relevance or that Kidd would be a jobber, yet here we are.

Also, seems like the origen of the revolution. Also hot take, Jinny will be Luffy's mom.

]It’s nowhere near as long lasting as the general theory, but yeah, that’s been floated for several years at least. But there’s no way Oda would pull another family member out this late especially direct sibling
 
Interesting chapter but goddamn Saturn, now is not the time for grand standing. I know you guys want your pointed displays of power but you've got Vegapunk and Luffy at your mercy, your Admiral is out of action and things are still not that assured. Putting on a showy execution of Bonnery is poorly timed and you 100% deserve the ancient robot about to punt your ass after we're done with Kuma's backstory.

I do wonder if the remnants like that robot are some sort of old school defence mechanism against people like the 5 Elders and Imu, it would be amusing if the rulers of the world literally cannot go to parts of it because old super weapons are going to start up and try to kill them if they do.
