And what's he gonna eat there? Because of demographics and the abundance of his prey he's pretty much limited to Northern America. Don't get me wrong, Africa will do in a pinch but they just don't hit quite the same when they're not urbanized. Just less meat on 'em is what it is.

I thought it was Churchill who came up with that plan, even titling it “Operation Unthinkable”.

I am pretty certain the Americans in particular rejected it, not so much because they didn’t agree with Churchill, more that the American public were getting war weary over a war which was very distant from them.

Prolonging it for the purpose of turning on and fighting an ally would have been a hard sell.
