Accepting one's own fallibility is a hard lesson -- God knows, it was hard as fuck for me -- but it's also incredibly liberating. Its also how you can tell when something has actually upset him. When he gets angry he rage Xeets jabbing his pudgy trotters at the screen as fast as he can in temper and ends up fat fingering the keys.
You can always tell when he's responding to something that hit a nerve (usually an uncomfortable truth) by the spelling errors.
It's also comical when you realize he types out his copy paste responses individually each time.
It's these little personal touches that makes Pat posting worthwhile, knowing Pat takes the time to read and respond to each and every one of his "fans".

It is quite possible that Fatrick has been infected with an unknown variant of the Kuru Disease that makes him even fatter and stupider than he already is. It doesn't help that cheap beer and Niggeroni are already extremely calorie dense. He is known to have a penchant for Afro-Americans from the African West Coast but is it known if he has ever dined on the flesh of Guineans?

fat rick occupies a tier of low level midwit where he is too stupid to achieve or perform well at anything, but just smart enough to be self aware of these shortcomings. that awareness hurts his ego a lot, and all his posturing and grandiose bravado is an attempt by him to protect his ego by never admitting failure or being wrong, ever, no matter the cost.
this is in contrast to someone like russell greer, who is also too stupid to achieve anything, but also lacks any self awareness, so he continues bumbling through life as a completely oblivious retard, forever ignorant of his shortcomings.

Believe me, I've tried, but every time I do, he just gets FATTER!
There's a genuineness and sincerity to his absolute utter retardation that couldn't be replicated by an Artificial Stupidity bot, even if you programmed it to throw in fat-finger spelling errors.
His retarded responses are handmade and there's just something about that that is heartwarming.
He loves us all.

There's some irony there that he would be one of the few authors who can't be replaced by a bot because he's just too fat and stupid for any machine to properly replicate. Unfortunately for him he is so fat and stupid that he gets surpassed by pretty much everybody and everything else.
When the urge hits sometimes you just have to reach for some top tier Tomlinson Brand Stupidity. Nothing else quite hits like it, accept no substitutes, and enjoy prison.

I maintain that with no friends, a marriage that’s likely sorely lacking, and his inability to remain relevant since his last book release, pat wouldn’t know what to do with himself if the pests just abandoned him overnight like ade. He loves this shit, who else can brag about a group of autists that can’t stop watching you with morbid fascination and curiosity? Pat has to have a villain to fight on Twitter, he’d be so depressed if it ever stopped.

The fact that even Pat spends too much time trying to find “Gotcha‘s“ in our responses towards him rather than using that energy to actually make decent science fiction books is just proof that him losing lawsuit after lawsuit is like a rush to him. He can’t contain himself, nor can he contain his fatness if he powerlevels so much that almost all sympathy is gone.
