Can someone tell me why troons started latching onto Danny Phantom being a troon allegory? I really doubt that Butch Hartman, a hardcore Christian who is straight and wanted to promote Christian family values with that failed content app thought of Danny as a troon/TIF?
I remembered reading about it back in 2016, but I've seen recent discussion as of late 2022/early 2023. This image of Danny going to a waterpark but wearing a t-shirt and accidentally "goes ghost" in the women's changeroom is usually the No. 1 proof... it seems more like he's insecure about being scrawny or doesn't want to show an uneven tan? I don't know why a 14 y/o old who isn't athletic or works out regularly would have a ripped body like the jocks at his school. And Butch didn't do the comic thing where everyone is ripped AF. Then there's his female clone, Dani.
Troons seem to love the theory because it makes normal people freak out about "ruining their childhood" or they feel that Danny's story provides a "solid trans narrative". Because only troons hide secrets that they don't want others to find out or live double lives. Seems more telling on how they feel about themselves.
