46 yo. 4 mo HRT. 57 days out. Does anyone else feel like their trans self is way younger than their biological age?

I don’t see many people comment on this, so I’m going to put this out there and see if I’m the only one.
I started to suppress the desire to be the other gender when I was around 13, when the part of me that was feminine started to have erotic feelings for my best friend. Even though I’ve always had other parts of me that expressed themselves very femininely, this integral part of myself that led my feminity was locked away until almost 4 years ago.

Since then, she’s aged normally, but that still puts the dominant part of my feminine personality at around 17 years ago. When my egg finally cracked 5 months ago, this part of me became the lead in transition.

Even though my collective knowledge and experience are for 46 years, I still feel like a 17 year old—with all of the issues that a teenager has—is captaining the ship of my life. When compounded with second adolescence due to hormones, this all gets really scary. Teenagers want to act and express themselves in ways that are totally normal and, because of their lack of deeper commitments like marriage and parenthood, can often do so without destroying their lives. When you’re 46 with a wife and kids, it’s very, very different.

My wife and therapist are amazing in all of this, as is the couple’s therapist my wife and I are seeing, but I still feel scared and alone a lot of the time when dealing with more typically representatively aged folks! (Like, because of the age differential in my perceived self, there are times who I now will look up to people in their mid-20’s like they’re older siblings, rather than people who could potentially be my children! Super surreal!)

I just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone else felt this way, or if I’m just weird?

That is some stunning and brave stuff there. Much complex feelings. Her multiple therapists must be on danger money.

I will be very annoyed with anyone who calls her a retarded faggot.

Only thing I can think of is men who want their sons to be circumcised because they were too. PS: This is not an attempt to start a conversation about circumcision please.

And as for why? Anecdotally, gay guys don’t tend to have any ill will towards women, they just like dick. But a lot of lesbians (political or True and Honest) HATE men just for existing. Having a son would mean sending a predator/monster out into the world, and they can’t have that. Lesbo moms also love that “mama bear” stuff so they benefit from their kid being a victim.
 
Lol, it always amuses me when people realize they’re losing an argument so they start trying to sound more sophisticated. Men do this more often too I think, I don’t really like the term “mansplaining” but this is kinda the same. I might be overthinking it but I also think he’s trying to do the more feminine style where you reassure and appease by saying you’re trying to help.

He’d probably still offend half of Reddit by assuming there there are places that don’t center trannys, but if he was really trying to make her comfortable the above is a good attempt at doing so. But by asking the question by saying “terf definition” he’s immediately putting people on the defensive and even if he really is trying to argue in good faith (XXXXXXXXXX) it appears that he isn’t.

He was obviously trying to do the “feminine” backhanded niceness thing but as a man, he comes in so heavy handed and obtuse about it, his motives are clear to the real women who can spot mean girl behavior from miles away.

Not always women but majority women. One reason is women do more childcare. Another reason is female socialization: a woman would sexually degrade her child for the high of social approval (relevant data point: most female child rapists did it for their adult male partners), while a man would just put a dress on his son and rape him in secret.
